Audiovisual documents in teaching French as a foreign language

This diploma thesis focuses on the use of audiovisual documents in teaching French as a foreign language. The aim of this thesis is to describe the ways and methods of the employment of audiovisual documents in contemporary teaching focusing on the selected range of textbooks. In the first part, the thesis resumes the development of teaching methodology putting emphasis on the methods using the audiovisual documents and the role of this teaching materials defined by the CEFRL and in its Companion Volume published in 2018. The thesis also deals with the question of planning the didactical unit including an audiovisual document and resumes its stages which lead to the development of all language skills. The second part of the thesis analyses the use of the audiovisual documents in the textbooks for children, teenagers and adults. The analysed textbooks cover all language levels existing for the target group. The analysis focuses on types and methods of the employment of the audiovisual documents. These methods, proposed in the textbooks or other additional materials, are compared to the theoretical recommendations summarized in the first part of the thesis. Analysis of the Compliance of the Declared Level of German Textbooks for Secondary Schools With the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages in Terms of Lexis

The aim of the diploma thesis is to show, whether the German language coursebooks contain vocabulary which is adequate for primary school pupils and whether they follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The introductory theoretical part contains information about the range and thematic focus of the A1 vocabulary according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and points to the changes in the concept of teaching that occurred in the CEFR in 2018. The empirical part of the diploma thesis is based on a detailed analysis of the range of vocabulary in A1 level coursebooks that are currently offered for German language classes. It contains a description of the research methodology and the interpretation of the results regarding the outputs for another foreign language that are presented by the Framework Education Programme. In the conclusion of the thesis, there are some critical points of foreign language teaching that may lead to overloading pupils.
The category of reflexivity in Czech-Russian context with regard to modern educational methods in Czech language education for foreigners

The main objective of this thesis is to describe category of reflexivity in Czech language based on Russian language material, followed by design and formation of language handbook to category of reflexivity for foreign students of Czech language for A1 - B2 levels in accordance with Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, teaching, assessment (CEFR). In the theoretical part individual aspects in category of reflexivity in Czech language are described. Mainly reflexive form of verbs, reflexive deagentive forms and reflexive verbs. The proposal of our own clasification category of reflexivity comes after and it incorporates explored material, which is systemized for design and formation of educational materials. The main target of the practical part is to design and form language handbook to category of reflexivity in Czech language. After the analysis of current educational materials we realized category of reflexivity is not taken in consideration enough, sometimes it is missing at all.
