Measuring unit of electric power quality
Teplan, Miroslav ; Mrákava, Petr (referee) ; Mlýnek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes the parameters of electrical energy with a focus on low voltage characteristics and their measurement with respect to the parameters required by standards. In addition, one chapter deals with monitoring of the quality electric energy. Measurement organizations, calculation of power quality and the data collection for its calculation is referred here. For the illustration, the example of a distributed monitoring system from practice is described. The second part deals with the design and implementation of a module for measuring power quality , namely by measuring the voltage characteristics. It describes the selection of the chosen solution, hardware part and firmware for the MCU. To display the measured data, application was created by the Java programming language. The application allows the visualization of the voltage measured Low voltage grid with single phase voltage RMS value 230.
New methods for emotion recognition from text
Onderka, Jakub ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Mašek, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis is about a method for sentimental analysis, especially machine learning methods without teacher. In detail are described method for semantic modeling LSA, pLSA a LDA. It was created a LDA implementation in Java language, which was used to emotional classification of 860 Czech documents to six different emotional categories. Maximal accuracy was 24 % if optimized parameters was used.
Java applications - theory and practice
Kučera, Lukáš ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Tereza , Tereza (referee)
The theme of diploma thesis is a Java application theory and practice. The thesis deals in the first part of theoretical introduction to programming languages, history of java, classification by paradigm. The thesis includes a closer acquaintance with the Java programming language and an overview of the basic functions and syntax of Java like a programming language such as object-oriented The practical part of the thesis deals programming of applications in Java. This section also deals the preparatory of development, analysis and design of graphical user interface of application. The thesis contains parts of the program code which are described and explained. The program is functional and it is for overview of claims which are exported from another system.
Java applications - theory and practice
Slabý, Milan ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Lohr, Václav (referee)
Bachelor's thesis is thematically focused on the problem of application development in the Java programming language and can be divided into two main parts: theoretical and practical. In the beginning of the theoretical part is described the history and development of the language, its brief characteristics, description of the individual versions of the language and editions of Java. The second half of the theoretical part is focused on more detailed analysis of selected syntactic elements of the Java language. The practical part is represented by a desktop application enabling the testing members of fire departments of the voluntary firefighters. The whole application is written in Java and its main aim is to show possible solutions to problems in specific cases and demonstrate the practical application of the elements of the language described in the theoretical part.
Web application programming in Java
Šíma, Roman ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Tyrychtr, Jan (referee)
This bachelor thesis describes a basic technologies of Java EE, which is, used for programming web and enterprise applications. The theoretical part provides a brief overview of the platform, compared to competitors or HTTP protocol. Further, it is deeply discussed servlet technology, serving as a controller in a three-tier architecture. I have devoted to dynamically generated pages called Java Server Pages. Finally, the theoretical part, I described the basic aspects of Java Server Faces. All discussed topics I added illustrative examples. In the practical part is devoted to developing an application that serves as an evidence of repository. I describe what it has application functions and graphical interface.

Software testing
Rybak, Yauhen ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Borovcová, Anna (referee)
This bachelor thesis presents the fundamental aspects of the testing tool IBM Rational Functional Tester. The aim of this thesis is to acquaint readers with the basics of software testing and to create the guide of the named testing tool for beginning testers; to show the process of automated testing on examples. The first part of this thesis presents a theoretical introduction to software testing; the se-cond part describes the process of testing web applications using IBM Rational Functional Tester. In the last part is shown in a particular practical example how to test Java applica-tion with the selected testing tool.
