Family Tree Drawing in Web Pages

This thesis deals with displaying interactive family trees in a browser using a suitable library of choice. A library programmed in Javascript was used for the solution, which was modified and improved. To obtain the necessary family tree data, a Gedcom-type file is used, which after analysis is converted to a JSON-type structure. This structure is then passed to the modified library to display the family tree. It is therefore possible to display any family's family tree including all its ancestors or a member and descendants.
Support for Searching in Parish Books

The aim of this work is to design and implement a web application for support for searching in parish book. The created application allows the user to upload his GEDCOM file from the missing events in this file to automatically create records to which he assigns parish book where the event could be located. The created solution allows you to write notes for individual records and parish book.
User Interface for Registry Office Transcription

This bachelor's thesis deals with design process and implementation of user-friendly application for transcription of registry office records. The web application and the suitable user interface were created after close inspection of user interfaces and the process of data transcription. The application enables the user to easily add and search for data in the registry. The result of this work is an application which is functional, intuitive and offers the user a clear layout.
Genealogic Semantic Wiki

This thesis project is about possibilities of storing genealogic data in different formats and based on the results it suggests data format which can be used consequently as a source for the vizualization by semantic web. In the scope of the project there is a genealogic application implemented for KiWi platform. This application enable visualization of designed format using prefuse technology. There are basic and aslo some other usefull information about the basic technologies of the semantic web like RDF, XM, ontology, OWL language stated in the document.
Program for Interactive Family-Tree Making

This thesis describes the design and implementation of an application for interactive family-tree making. The application supports importing and exporting data in GEDCOM format, further editing of the data, visualizing the data in family charts and their export. The design of the program is modular. It is implemented using C++ and Qt. The program was released for testing amongst the group of Czech and Slovak genealogists and their opinions on the program were obtained and analysed.
System for Managing Revisions of the Transcripted Registers Database

This work aims to create an extension of the existing system for managing master data (DEMoS) with the ability to manage record revisions. As part of the modifications, auxiliary tables, views and procedures were created in the database, which are used to store and manage the history of record changes. The created solution also contains a web interface showing the modifications made, including the time and the author of the change, as well as supporting the restoration of the record to one of the previous states. To facilitate the possible expansion of the database in the future, a script was created that automatically generates the MySQL code of implemented database controls for the specified original tables.
Genealogical Data Visualization

The aim of this work is to design and create a web application for displaying genealogical data. The data are displayed from created database that has been filled with freely available data. Nette Framework and MySQL were used for the solution. The application allows users to filter displayed data according to certain criteria, as well as modify or add new ones. It is especially benefical for genealogists and those interedted in their origin.
Modelling for Genealogy

There are analyzed roles and relationships that occurs in genealogical records and problems of their representation are described too. The goal is to design and implement system, which will validate relationships in genealogical records and enable processing this data.
Modelling on Historical Data

The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a web application that allows the display and editing of genealogical models. These models are created using a program that permits their automatic assembly from available registry records. A great focus of the solution is the connection of the web application with this program. The application is developed using Node.js, written in JavaScript using its React library.The web application provides the user with access to the mentioned program and allows him to view and edit the output of this program. It is especially concerned with the user-friendliness and simplicity of the application. The solution also includes integration into an existing system which provides the user with the possibility of transcribing data from archives and manages a community database. 
Interactive GUI for Parish Records Rewritting

This thesis deals with the efficiency of transcription of matrices into computers. The goal is to create mechanisms that will improve the orientation in a larger number of form inputs. These mechanisms should also smartly complement the input field and check for errors.
