Database application in JAVA language

This thesis deals about the MySQL database system and its connection with JAVA programming environment. It discusses the implementation of applications with data editing database tables. In the first theoretical part deals about connectivity to the database server using JDBC Connector and its types. Next it defining properties of connection and communication with FTP server. The thesis describes also the security of communication with server using SLL/TLS protocol. The practical part describes how to create the server side of project and the application in JAVA FX.

Security of Electronic Documentation in Medical Environment

Thesis is analyzing czech laws which are related to medical documentation. Describes the points which are mandatory for information system, so the medical documentation can be stored electronically. Includes various algorithms for implementation of certain electronic signature and for identification of person. This thesis deals with asymmetric cryptography, specifically RSA, DSA, and ECDSA. Describes the hash functions and their functions and their characteristics. Describes the principle of the certificate, ways of its obtaining, invalidation and their formats. Analyzes medical information system and suggests ways to create a program for signing medical records. Then based on that analysis, the program is implemented. At the conclusion of the work is discussed, if created program meets the criteria.

Experience with optical measurements of thin films

In this article I summarize my experience with measurement of the optical properties of thin layers. Article has three parts. The first part focuses on the measurement of optical spectra in the medium infrared region, in the second part I discuss the optical spectra in the near ultraviolet, visible and near infrared region and in the third part I discuss the optical spectroscopy done with the help of the optical microscope.
