The topic of this bachelor thesis is Bicycle Transportation in the Countryside and in the City. The introduction clarifies the basic terminology. From the technical perspective the thesis brings some light into planning requirements of touristic cycling paths and their basic parameters. Second part of the thesis is dedicated to analyze a larger selected area in terms of primary, secondary and tertiary structure. A model object of smaller area is delimitted and provides a base for another part developing a proposal. The last part describes a proposal of a touristic cycling path within the selected model object, specifically the area of Trnava surroundings in Slovakia. Based on discovered information and prepared plan, the task of this thesis is to estimate the potential for bicycle tourism of the model area.

Rekreační cyklostezky Prostějova

This bachelor thesis deals with present condition of bicycle paths in the town Prostějov. In first part of the thesis, there are described and definited individual concepts related to the problematics, the most detailed then the cycling in which the cycle paths are used. Further, in the thesis there is characterized the area of interest - the district and the town of Prostějov, its brief history and cycling infrastructure, which includes both cycle paths and biking trails leading throught Prostějov. A personal survey was carried out during the work when the network of cycling trails in the city was mapped. Subsequently, problematic sections were selected, in which the bicycle paths are badly marked and their clearness is reduced. In addition to the problematic sections, 4 suitable locations for the location of service racks were also selected to serve cyclists.

Cykloturistika jako součást venkovského cestovního ruchu v Jihomoravském kraji

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the Cycling as part rural tourism in South Moravian region. There is description of the South Moravian region in the introduction, both in general terms and in terms of natural conditions, economic conditions and culture and tourism. Another section defines the characteristics and familiarity with cycling and its sorting, types, signage, financing and describes the projects associated with this type of tourism. Furthermore, it is described the condition and development of cycling in South Moravian region. The thesis is concentrated in more details on cycling in micro-region Mezihoří. The last part deals concerned with the current situation in the area Mezihoří in terms of cycling, which is based on SWOT analysis and subsequent proposals cycle paths that would help improve the tourist development of the micro-region.

The diploma theses is focused on cycling infrastructure in Brno. The opening part deals with theoretical level of cycling infrastructure, its approaches to creating and analysis. Constituent part deals with strategic documents related to cycling issues. Practical part describes creating geodatabase of cycling infrastructure in Brno. Its results compare to strategic document 'Strategie pro Brno' and 'Aktualizace strategické vize Strategie rozvoje Jihomoravského kraje 2020'. Tools of geographic information systems are used for the comparison.

The Bachelor thesis describes the current status of a waterlogged area in the Bobrava valley near the village of Omice. The author proposes revitalization project of the existing and newly proposed wetlands, the construction of cycling paths with information panels and planting of native trees. All proposals should meet the landscape-ecological requirements with an emphasis on recreational use.
