Design of a 3D scanner for educational purposes

The aim of the submitted semestral project is research of 3D scanning object methods. The 3D scans utilization and types of these scans have been mentioned in the first chapter. The scanners are grouped into two basic methods – contact and contactless. The second chapter is dedicated to 3D model measurement principles, which are described in detail in four sub-chapters. In the following chapter is described design with complete realization 3D scanner with the implementation of the application for its controlling. Last part of the thesis concerns the 3D model editing and method evaluating.

Technological manipulator of smoking-chamber

This work designs overall structural design of technological manipulator of smoking- chamber, which serves to move the trolleys with food between smoking and chilling chamber. Chambers are connected in a single device. Trolleys are considered with full and uniformly distributed load. Work includes a 3D model of equipment and production documentation.

Control of a rotational inverted pendulum

The goal of this work is modelling and design of an inverted pendulum prototype. The work presents a mathematical model of a rotary pendulum, modelling of a BLDC motors and also a 3D model of the pendulum prototype is present. The work mentions design of the state space controller and swing up control of the inverted pendulum. Dynamics obtained from the mathematical model is used to create a 3D dynamic model of a pendulum, with the use of the Simscape toolbox. The work deals with control of a BLDC motors with use of vector control. The algorithm is implemented on the CompactRIO platform. Later, hardware is developed, containing STMicroelectronis microcontroller, capable of replacing the CompactRIO platform.
