Creation of on-line geo-web application - Rudolec locality

The aim of this work was the creation of geo-informative web-application of Rudolec locality, with emphasis on simple and easy way to control and manage multi-user system through web forms. The application was created using the tools of PHP, MySQL and JavaScript, the user interface consisted of an HTML form. The web application is composed of static part, which summarizes the historical and geographical facts of Rudolec estate and the dynamic content stored in SQL database. This aplication will continue to run applications on the Web Rudolecko.cz and will be used as a geo-informative website for visitors of this tourist locality.

The Bachelor Thesis The chateau Český Rudolec - building history and arts-historical context summarizes the basic information related to the chateau itself, but also to its close surroundings, with a focus on the last reconstruction into neogothic form and on the prospective owner Michael Angelo Picchioni. The chateau is then set in the context of similar 19th-century historicist buildings.

This diploma thesis deals with concept of landscape memory in microregion Dačicko, situated in south-eastern part of South Bohemia. The theoretical part contains a research based on relevant sources, in which the specific terms associated with landscape memory of rural area are described in detail. The essential information about the microregion, its nature protection and landscapes, is also provided in this part. The detailed description and comparison of two selected cadastral municipalities are provided in the practical part. The comparative method is used to describe natural conditions and land use development in both cadastral municipalities. It is followed by the analysis of semi-standardized interviews with long-term inhabitants and local landscape values identification. The values are subsequently drawn into maps of the cadastral municipalities. Current state of the landscape values has been explored during the field investigations. The final part is dedicated to several suggestions for creating, preserving and renewing landscape values in both areas.
Family Names and Nicknames in the village of Český Rudolec

The subject of this thesis is surnames and nicknames of inhabitants of Český Rudolec. The basic material was obtained from a list of the names of local inhabitants. To get a list of nicknames, the exploratory methods were used (usually by means of an interview). The analysis of names and nicknames will be conducted using traditional classification methods. The goal of the thesis is an analysis of official and non-official names of the local inhabitants.
Mural Painting in Bohemia in the 14th Century. Český Rudolec and Jindřichův Hradec

Diploma thesis, titled "Mural painting in Bohemia in the 14th century" is focused on two particular locations, The Chapel of the Church of Saint John the Baptist in Český Rudolec and on the ancient minorit church of Saint John the Baptist in Jindřichův Hradec. The first part of this thesis deals with the contemporary, historical, political, religional and art situation and consequently discusses the question of the wall paintings of these two locations mentioned above in the broader context. The next two chapters are focused on the locations on their own and discuss their history and the history of the dynasties as the owners of these landed estates. In brief the thesis also presents the historical sacral monuments - the Church in Jindřichův Hradec and the Chapel in Český Rudolec, where the described wall paintings are situated. The main attention is devoted to the murals and to the iconographic motifs. The main goal of this thesis is to describe and assess the wall paintings in Český Rudolec and in Jindřichův Hradec and to interpret the wall paintings in Český Rudolec in terms of their style and iconographic context in which they have not been presented before.

Český Rudolec in 20th century
MĚRTLOVÁ, Lucie
Diploma-work themed {\clqq}Český Rudolec in the 20th century`` is basically dedicated to the commune of Český Rudolec, its neigbourhoods and events, that influenced its life. Diploma-work starts with brief historical overview of development of Český Rudolec from it´s beginnings till the start of 20th century. The era of years 1900 {--} 1918 and the age of the {\clqq}first Czechoslovak republic`` follows. Focus of this diploma-work rests on description of event in 30s and 40s of the 20th century. Main attention is paid to events of 1938 and consecutive germanic occupation of Czech border regions, furthermore to the year 1945, end of the war, along with serious theme of displacement of residents with German nationality and consecutive re-settlement of commune. Next chapter is dedicated to years 1948 {--} 1989 and to development after year 1989. Following chapters of diploma-work are dedicated to important personalities of cummune and its region, to fates of Jewish residents, sights, especially to the castle, and to schools in Český Rudolec. There are appendixes at the end of diploma-work, containing mainly contemporary photos and postcards for illustration and futher refinements of the diploma-work. This diploma-work results from study of national and regional literature and conterporary sources (archive materials, communal chronicle, memories of eyewitnesses).
