The thesis is focused on the management of working capital and subsequently on its optimization in the Ekotrend Ludky Company Ltd. On the basis of available financial statements the work deals with the individual areas of management, which the working capital includes. Final thesis analyses the working capital of the company through the inventory management, the debt management, the cash management and the management of short-term liabilities. In conclusion the obtained results are interpreted and the potential recommendation suggested. That recommendation will lead to the optimal management and planning of working capital in the company.

Management of claims in selected company

Receivables affect many aspects of the company financial management. A degree of influence of the receivables on the financial management of the company depends on their quantitative amount and their share in the ownership structure. Of course, each enterprise should monitor the development of receivables in their volume, structure and time. The companies should treat their receivables before they occur, or at the time of their origin. The important phases at the management of the receivables are the prevention and enforcement. In both phases, the company should maximally utilize resources that the law makes available to creditors. In this thesis I want to evaluate the management system of the receivables in a specific company and the result should help other enterprises to streamline or build the functional management system of receivables.

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of management of trade receivables for the selected business entity. In the first part of the work the receivables are defined from different perspectives, then the methods of receivables management are described. In the practical part of the thesis, the receivables of specific business entity are analyzed. Next, the analysis of problematic areas is provided and the appropriate recommendations are proposed to improve the current situation.

This thesis deals with issue of claim management at chosen business entity. The important terms used in sphere of claims are specified and the debts are analyzed overdue in each year including analysis of claims by means of selected indicators of financial analysis. The attention is focused on the definition of claims, depreciation, methods of prevention, possibilities of security for debts and recovery procedures. Based on the analyses the actions and recommenda-tions are proposed to improve the current situation of the company in the management of claims.

Subsequently, this issue was analyzed in the selected company. The theoretical part focused on part of overdue receivables, receivables management and ensure claims. It also define provisioning for receivable and write-offs of receivables. The practical part describes and analyze overdue receivables in the selected company.

Analysis of receivables management in selected business entity

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the claims management in the economic entity and focus on the bad debts. The work was focused on short-term debts because the company providing the information does not have long-term debts. The theoretical part deals with the general management of receivables before and after maturity. This part explains the creation, valuation, extinction and billing of claims and is focused on overdue receivables and their solutions - cession, exaction of debts and write-off. The practical part focuses on the management of debt in the company. First there is an analysis - turnover of receivables, receivables turnover rate, liquidity and subsequent comparison of indicators in individual years. Next part of this work compares the selected firm with a competitor in the same transport sector. Then this work shows the accounting of receivables and management of overdue receivables, which are dealt with external company, lawyers and courts. The company has a large number of claims (before maturity and after maturity). It should try to reduce them, for example, by requiring advance or offer discounts at fast payment.

Debt management in a selected company - accounting and tax implications

The diploma thesis is focused on debt management system. Some facts concerning the classification of debts, right pricing and inventory taking have been clarified in the theoretical part. A provision of debts, adjusting item issues and a write-off of debts have been taken into consideration as well. The practical part of thesis focuses on debt analysis, ways of debt provision used in the given company. One chapter deals with outstanding debts. Finally, debt management system in the company is assessed as well as the suggestion of improvement.

Teoretical findings are subsequently applied to the data supplied by company Proton s.r.o. In conclusion, this work is evaluated the current state of management of working capital, together with any proposals for improvement.
