The goal of this work was to bring the basics and goals of the financial management of liquidity and an assessment of liquidity of the specific company working in the area of factoring. Evaluation of liquidity was carried through liquidity indicators, ratios, diferential indicators and analysis of cash flow statements.

The whole piece is divided into two main parts. First part is theoretical in which the analyzed company is introduced and there is also description of the used methodology. The second part contains the financial analyse of the firm SATES s.r.o. for the period from year 2005 to year 2009. I elaborated the analyse by doing horizontal and vertical analyse of a balance sheet and income sheet, ratio analyse, analyse of the net working capital, pyramidal decomposition of the return on equity, comparison of balance rules, economic normal and using of failure and solvent models, calculation of economic value added and comparison to competing company
Financial analysis of company Bosh diesel, Ltd.

The main target of my thesis was to make a financial analyse of the company Bosh diesel, Ltd. during years 2004-2008. I evaluated financial health of the company by using indicators of profitability, the indicator net working capital or economic value added. I applied models of prediction of financial pressure. At the end of financial analysis I compared Bosch diesel, Ltd. within the appropriate industry.
Comparison of the Slévárna Losenický and the Slévárna a strojírna companies based on solvency and bankruptcy models

This bachelor thesis is aimed at comparison and evaluation of financial health of the Slévárna Losenický s.r.o. and the Slévárna a strojírna, a.s. companies based on financial analysis application, particularly solvency and bankruptcy models, in the years 2004 - 2008. The bachelor thesis also deals with the explanatory power of the models. Both of the selected companies differ deliberately in their business success. The first mentioned one seems to be prosperous, while the second mentioned one has been undergoing insolvency proceeding since September 2009, but both of them are from the same branch of business and comparable with their amount of sales. In the theoretical part the bankruptcy theory, some elementary methods of financial analysis, i.e. horizontal and structural analysis, main financial ratios and net working capital indicator, are described first and then the extra attention is devoted to the solvency and bankruptcy models including their construction and evaluation criteria. In the practical part the mentioned methods and models are applied to both the selected companies and in the conclusion the explanatory power of applied solvency and bankruptcy models is evaluated.
A judgment of the predicability efficiency of the prediction models on the basis of financial statements of the Altreva Ltd. and Jitex Inc. corporations

The thesis deals with the predicability efficiency of prediction models, which represents integral part of financial analysis. These models could be divided into bankruptcy prediction and solvency models. The aim of the listed models is to determine level of financial health of selected companies with a few year prospects. As a representative of the companies, which went bankrupt, was selected Jitex Inc., which fold in 2009 and going concerns represents Altreva Ltd. In the theoretical part various financial ratios and prediction models are described with their expected characteristics. These descriptions also include explenation of models construction. The practical part provides concrete results of used prediction models and financial ratios of Altreva and Jitex. A special attention is paid to Jitex Inc. in 2006, where the prediction models could be misjudged by high level of artificially overvalued profit. The practical aim of this study is an extensive specification of tests along with their suitability to predict fitness of companies within the Czech economy framework.
Financial analysis of T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s.

The purpose of this diploma theses is to demonstrate the comprehensive view on the "financial health" of T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. through the financial analysis process between year 2003 and 2007 from the position of the external user. The theoretic part of this theses is focused on the brief history, definition and principle of the financial analysis, then on users of the financial analysis and information sources for its realization including the pointing out the limitation of predicative abilities of the accounting data. Understanding of the traditional but also new methods, which are applied within the financial analysis (including the methods of intercompany comparison), is another part of the theoretic definition of the financial analysis. The practical part of the theses deals with the characteristics of T-Mobile company and with processing of the strategic analysis, which put us closer to the outside and inside surroundings of the analysed firm. It is followed by processing of the financial analysis of T-Mobile company (including comparison with its competitors), comments and evaluation of findings and results (including their comparison, where it is possible, with standard (recommended) values or with the "branch average values") and by pointing out strenghts and weaknesses of operations of the analysed company.
Financial analysis of Koh-i-noor Hardtmuth JSC

The financial situation and financial economy are to be controlled by a whole complex of indicators and their values looked on in the time progress and context so that the evaluation outcome may reflect the whole economic state of the company and enable to point out causes of the actual situation. If the firm shall be economically flourishing, the financial analysis has to be a part of the complex of the company's financial management because it provides a feedback between the expected effect of managing decisions and experience. The elaborated analysis is focussed on detection of weak and strong points of the firm. The goal of my diploma thesis was to elaborate a financial analysis containing my theoretical experience. Despite of the fact that the financial analysis does not bring a complete answer to all questions the company have been asking themselves, it is a great constribution to the evaluation of the past development, detection of problematical areas and prediction of the future development.
Financial analysis of the MADETA joint-stock company

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to carry out financial analysis of the Madeta joint-stock company and to assess the company's financial health. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes methods and tools, which are applicated for the evaluation of the development of the financial health in the practical part.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess financial health of the HOCHTIEF CZ a.s. company. First part of the thesis is focused on the methods used in the analysis of the company. Second part shortly introduces the company itself. In the third part there is accomplished financial analysis of the company at the hand of the selected ratios which are mentioned in the theoretical part.

My bachelor thesis includes information about three international corporations, Danone a.s., UNILEVER ČR, s.r.o., and Nestlé Česko s.r.o. All these corporations have specific liquidity and Net Working Capital control which does not respond with the basic management standards. All theese companies are daughter companies of big international corporations and they represent the parent companies in the Czech Republic. In my thesis I am giving analysis of the liquidity, NWC, insolvency, profitability, etc. I am trying to explain the unique way of the liquidity control by comparing the companies with each other and with stated standards.
