Krajinárská štúdia vybraného modelového územia
Fogadová, Denisa
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to work out a plan improving the current state of the village Mankovce and surrounding area. In the literary review , the thesis deals with landscape planning and related issues. On the basic of the landscape analysis of the primary, secondary and tertiary structure,a design solution was drawn up. There were also considered visual links in the countryside, dominants and natural and aesthetic values, on which the design solution is based on. The design solves problems in the area with regard to the local population and tries to comply with their requirements. It focuses on the anti-erosion measures in the territory and on the common forest planting as well as creation of a special purpose forest for recreational use and also follows up the existing cultural space of the municipal amphitheater. It resolves the restoration of current grasslands in the marginal parts of the existing meadow areas. It sets high-level regulations for new construction in a part of the area, preventing from landscape character disturbance. The alley restoration is based on the tree species planted there in the past. Through the creation of a local biocentre in the former stone quarry, it protects specific plant and animal species. The study makes use of the area potential and tries to support sustainable development of the countryside. In the future, it might be used as a land planning basis for creating the municipal ground plan of the village Mankovce.

Territorial system of ecological stability (ecological networks), the evidence and an analysis of newly established biocenters and biocorridors in model area
Hofman, Milan ; Lipský, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Skaloš, Jan (referee)
The ecological networks are a widely discussed subject in a local and a pan-European scale. There were a formation of the Territorial system of ecological stability in Czechoslovakia during eighties. TSES can be considered for a main part of ecological networks. Understanding the theoretical basics and a delimitation of ecological networks and TSES are necessary. These knowledges allow a correct application to practice. Therefore a main part of the study is literature search. There are summarize important studies of this interdisciplinary subject in the bachelor thesis. New elements of TSES have been creating almost thirty years. Their registr and evaluation should be an integral part of the process. We have found out sixteen new elements of TSES in the Kutná Hora district. We researched seven of them. We focused on a contemporary composition of trees and bushes. We analyzed it with project documentations and we tried to predict a future prosperity. New elements of TSES still need to care that depends on specific conditions of each habitat.

Palečková, Alena ; Damohorský, Milan (advisor) ; Sobotka, Michal (referee)
The landscape planning and the protection of natural components of environment in the Czech law Abstract This rigorous thesis deals with the legal regulation of the landscape planning and the protection of natural components of environment in the Czech legal system. The rigorous thesis further extends the author's diploma thesis called "The creation of landscape in the law". These terms - creation of landscape and landscape planning - are closely linked to each other. The author decided to deepen the topic of the landscape planning as this topic was unable to cover completely in the scope of the diploma thesis. This rigorous thesis supplements the diploma thesis, extends the topic further and describes it in more detail. Yet, the topic as a whole is still not completely covered by this rigorous thesis. The aim of this rigorous thesis is to analyse the legal regulation of the landscape planning and the protection of natural components of environment in the Czech legal system. The analysis is made specifically to ascertain if the legal regulation of the landscape planning and the protection of natural components of environment is included in the Czech legal system and if yes, then in which ways it is. The rigorous thesis is divided into five parts. The first part of the thesis contains the analysis of the...
Krajinářská studie vybraného modelového území
Remešová, Miroslava
The present thesis in its literary survey focuses on the issue of landscape, scenery, and landscape planning. It defines the scattered vegetation and introduces the applicable legislation. The area in question is typical for the high proportion of arable land and intensive agriculture. The thesis analyses the primary, secondary and tertiary landscape structure and defines the problems of the area. The significant carriers of the local ecological and aesthetic values are tree avenues and allees. This fact has become an impetus to perform the mapping of these avenues/allees. A redevelopment project was prepared and subsequently implemented for the selected fruit-tree avenue. Other detected problems of the area were processed and are presented in the form of a planning map with comments given in the text part of the thesis.
Doprovodná vegetace vodních toků
Hamata, Jakub
This thesis pays attention to description of river developement, functioning, and their influence on the watershed landscape. It also focuses on the topic of relationship between rivers, riparian ecosystems, and human society. Those information showed the importance of river existence within the landscape and urban areas. The final part of the literary overview describes how rivers should be implemented into the spatial and landscape planning process in conditions of Czech republic. The methodology for river ecological quality assesment contains three basic levels: the level of the watershed, the level of dams or ponds, and the level of the river itself. This way it is possible to design stabilization and developement measures effectively and conceptually. Special attention has been payed to design a methodology that requires reasonable equipement, reasonable amount of time, and delivers useful high quality data. The methodology has been applied in chosen part of the Pšovka river. Chosen area has been analysed and evaluated accordingly to the designed methodology. Stabilization and developement measures have been designed on three basic levels described above. Those measures aim to stabilize and improve the quality of the watershed, and river including its riparian ecosystems. This is achieved by designing regulations, technical constructions, and vegetation elements.

Pražanová, Eva ; Švácha, Rostislav (advisor) ; Halík, Pavel (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Petr (referee)
The given dissertation presents the work of the Country Research and Planning Institute in Brno and depicts regional tendencies in the Czech urbanism in the 40's. In her paper the author focuses on the period between 1938 and 1948 that marks the active existence of Brno's institute which was the most progressive institution within the field of regional planning in that era and whose activities have never been described sufficiently. The main initiators and authors of the institute concept were Bohuslav Fuchs, Jindřich Kumpošt and Josef Mrkos; later a significant figure of the Czech regional planning - Emanuel Hruška joined them. The dissertation defines the urbanistic works of the specified period as continuance of the previous development forcibly interrupted in 1948. In order to understand the motives for the regional planning, this paper outlines the principal idealistic concepts of the planners: criticism of liberalism, holism, technocracy, and redefinition of so called scientific stage of functionalism related to the problem of mental functions in the architecture. After introducing the regional planning in the world and Czechoslovakia at the beginning of the 40's the history, concept and functioning of Brno's institute is presented, including analyses of its main projects.
