Heat pumps for heating and hot service water preparation
Valášek, Martin ; Hrnčířová, Michaela (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is aimed to describe heating and water warming in the detached houses by basic technical devices and there are suggested various types of heat pumps for a particular object. These heat pumps are compared technically and economically. In the beginning of the thesis there is a summary of the possible ways of the house heating and water warming systems, such as heating by electric power, by gas, by solid fuel or the centrally distributed heating. Then the thesis concentrates on heat pumps. There are described various types of heat pumps, also their advantages and disadvantages. There were chosen four main types of heat pumps – air/water, air/air, water/water and earth/water – and with each type there’s constructed a plan for a low-energy house heating. This house is located in Vyškov and there’s thermal loss of 6 kWh and water-warming of a capacity of 260 l per day. At last there were used economical calculations, which shown, that the water/water heat pump has the shortest return rate in comparison with a gas-using heating system – 5 years. Considering the lifespan of the heat pumps – 10-20 years – all the heat pumps are profitable except for the air/air heat pump. The investment in this heat pump doesn’t return.
Heat pump performance data analysis
Proposal for heating of family house
Pavlíček, Michal ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Hrnčířová, Michaela (advisor)
Family houses heating, depending on economic factors, is currently highly discussed topic. My work evaluates the possibility of heating such houses. The technical possibilities of model building and design of optimal heating sources are taken into account. The link of investment requirements and their return is also observed.
Comparative study of PV and heat pump in domestic energy supply
Kiša, Michal ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the utilization of a heat pump and photovoltaic system on specific residential house. It clarifies the basic concepts of the heat pumps, photovoltaics and their application on a house. In the description of the house there are mentioned basic parameters, a description of the existing system. There are heat demands calculations for house heating and water heating, calculated according to the theoretical values and these are compared with the actual values. The practical part deals with the design of heat pump and photovoltaic system. Also there are assesses of the purchase prices, the operational costs and the following investment returnability in comparison with a fireplace insert with accumulation storage and an integrated electrical heating element.
Heat pumps testing methodology
Španihelová, Kateřina ; Kamenský, Petr (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the methodology of heat pumps testing. The first part covers the basic principles of a heat pump from the thermomechanical point of view, the description of the heat pump basic components and low-potential heat sources. The next section describes the parameters of heat pumps according to which we can evaluate their effectiveness. The last part is targeted on the issue of testing heat pumps including a description of the test methods and description of the test heat pump air-water.
Air to water heat pumps
Špatenka, Jindřich ; Weismanová, Júlia (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
Topic of the bachelor thesis are heat pumps air - water. The first part deals with the principle of heat pump and development since the inception to the present day, as well as a brief indication of other types of heat pumps and their adventages and disadvantages. In the next part are selected heat pumps from different manufacturers achieved by heating factors, performance and other parameters. Followed by used circuits of heat pumps. In the third section are described the component parts of heat pumps and their distribution.
Electric cars heating systems
Kolomazník, Milan ; Fišer, Jan (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The object of this bachelor thesis is a research concerned the electric vehicle interior heating ways. The basic terms connected with the electromobilism general problems are described at the beginning. The following part outlines the current problems that impede the wide expansion of these vehicles. The thesis sums up the direct methods of the heating using electricity and the alternative way, which is a self-sufficient heating using an internal combustion engine. It also assesses the applicability of heat loss emerging in the electric components, such as an electric motor, a frequency converter or an accumulator. Based on these findings, the various constructional drafts were created including a list of their strengths and weaknesses. The conclusion draws a comparison between each of these constructional solutions.
Ground source heat pumps
Nykl, František ; Weismanová, Júlia (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes and characterizes the ground source heat pumps. It also contains a summary of other types of heat pumps in terms of principle, the acquisition of energy and environmental performance. The reader is acquainted with the history, components and an example of the use of heat pumps in practice.
Heat pump heating for a house
Loibl, Jan ; Hrnčířová, Michaela (referee) ; Nerud, Pavel (advisor)
The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with introducing to the issue of heat pump systems. The functioning principle of the most widely used heat pump type is explained here as well as its coeficient of performance, its operational modes and fundamental components. In addition, possible ways of heat pump systems application in terms of obtaining lowpotential heat are introduced. In the practical part the calculation of thermal loss of selected family house is discussed together with the calculation of heat requirements for heating and domestic hot water. The following part focuses on the selection of the most appropriate type of heat pump systems for covering heat demands of the selected house. The final part poses economical assesment of the designed heat pump system including the calculation of investment recovery.
Comparison of renewables source for heating
