Durability determination of adhesive used for timber structures
Šot, Michal ; Krbila, Jaromír (referee) ; Vaněrek, Jan (advisor)
The work deals with issues of bonding in wood adherents and using test procedures to determine the properties and durability of bonded joints. The work contains an overview of the test procedures performed, plus two research articles. In the practical part of the work, experiments were performed dealing with the bond durability od FPR/wood and evaluating this material.
Vybrané faktory ovlivňující pevnost lepeného spoje
Kučerová, Erika
This thesis deals with the difference of glued joints strength and extreme surface roughness variability at massive material sections. For gluing were selected three types of adhesives like a glutine, polyvinyl acetate and urea formaldehyde glue. Mechanical properties has been tested at physical experiment were have been evaluated maximal tensile elongation and Young's modulus of elsticity. Experarimentation has been done with testing device Instrom 3365.
Vplyv lepidla na pevnosť lepených spojov za zvýšených teplôt s využitím metódy šikmého šmyku
Košutová, Petra
This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of adhesive on bond strength of ABS edges and particle boards at increased temperatures. The issue also involves logistic operations, where furniture is exposed to extreme temperatures in both positive and negative directions while being transported or stored. The factor mentioned above is vital for choice of suitable adhesive showing the properties that have to withstand extreme conditions and comply with the required characteristics at the same time. The test was carried out using particular board sheet material that is commonly available and widely used in furniture industry. Bond strength was tested having applied EVA hot melt adhesive that was exposed to cyclic thermal load of 20 to 70 °C using the method of oblique shear and compressive load at 45°. The results of the measurements were processed and analyzed thoroughly.
Vliv lepidla na pevnost lepených spojů za nízkých teplot
Bouška, Martin
This bachelor's thesis deals with the influence low temperatures environment and used adhesive to strength of adhesive joints of massive wood. The tested joins of oak and spruce wood were glued polyurethane adhesive and mixed urea melamine formaldehyde adhesive. The joins were exposed to low temperatures (from 5 °C to -30 °C) and subjected shear tension test according to ČSN EN 205. For comparison a result of strength at low temperatures was performed also test the strength of adhesive joints at room temperatures.
Vliv použitého lepidla na pevnost konstrukčního spojení DOMINO
Martinek, Štěpán
The aim of diploma thesis is to discover the effect of used glue on strength of Domino structural joint and on the experiment basis determine whether different thermal conditions affect the strength of glued joint and if this influencing is significant or not. Two types of samples were made for this experiment with difference in used glue. These samples were exposed to three different temperatures. Bending moment and rigidity coefficient was identified at particular joints.
