Brewery in the city, the city in the brewery - architectural and urban redevelopment of a brewery in Znojmo

Brewery premises waiting for its time once again to raise their fate. The proposal deals with thinning adequate space for the return of the former grandeur of the castle courtyard. Take the power of its current and cumbersome, and bring back into the historic character of the former in the form of vertical predatory towers and all the socio-eco-logical aspects.

The Roofing of The Ecclesiastical Building

Bachelor's thesis deals with wooden loadbearing structure the roofing of the ecclesiastical building with dimensions 15,5 x 17,5 meters in the village Chudcice northwest of Brno. The building is 16 meters high and the roof is 12 meters high. The main loadbearing roofing structure consists of corner rafters reinforced wood frame, here is placed joist floor of loft. The main beams are designed from glued laminated wood GL24, other supporting beams are designed from wood C22. The roof of the chapel is formed by intersection of two pyramidal roof and it is at an angle of 62°. Roof cladding is made of asphalt shingle. Bell stool with a bell is in the top of the roof. Technical equipment ensuring automatic chime is located in the loft. Connections of wooden beams are designed with steel joints.
Latin Inscriptions in the Town of Tabor

This work deals with Latin inscriptions in the City of Tabor, their short epigraphic description, historical context, place of their existence and interpretation of the text. It is divided into two parts: the first one is dedicated to historical development and description of the City of Tabor, and explains the term epigraphy. The second part addresses Latin inscriptions, their analysis, interpretation and historical context.
Castle Křivoklát.
HÁPOVÁ, Zuzana
The bachelor´s thesis on theme Křivoklát castle shall provide to the reader quality monograph of this castle. On the first there is covered critical survey of selected literature, then short history follows, further the chapter, which applies to the general description of the castle, and at the end I applied to the some of interiors. I think, that the principal chapter of my thesis is the chapter about description of upper and lower castle and also the chapter about detailed description of chapel including iconographic analysis of the chapel´s decoration. Interiors, that the bachelor´s thesis highlights, are the Royal hall and the Knightly hall, chapel and picture gallery, where selected portraits of members of the Fürstenberk dynasty are described in bigger detail.
Modern Sacral Architecture.
PODROUŽKOVÁ, Petra
The thesis deals with European sacral architecture of the twentieth and the twenty-first century. Particularly, it refers to Judaic, Roman-Catholic and Islamic buildings. The second part puts into historical context the sacral constructions of individual religions including their function, characters and typology. In the third part of this thesis the representative sample of significant modern sacral constructions is selected, always under circumstances regarding their creation, the urban description and the setting in a specific location as well as the architectural layout, the interior arrangment and a possible use of special technological procedures at their construction. The mutual comparison and the evaluation of the modern European sacral architecture development are carried out in the fourth part. This section notices the function and the usage of light and presents some extraordinary buildings from this point of view. The final fifth part tries to answer the question, how a modern temple should look like.
Financing specifications in a church chapel

This Bachelor's Thesis concentrates on financing specifications in the Evangelical church of Czech brethren. It describes and compares particular items from profit and loss statement, mainly according to absolute indicators. The first part of the text focuses on non -- profit sector and a place of church organizations in it. Following chapters concern the mission of church organizations, their legal security and models which state and church can have. Next chapter briefly describes history and structure of the Evangelical church of Czech brethren. Theoretical part of the text is connected with practical part, which deals with financing of the chapel of Evangelical church of Czech brethren in Horní Krupá. Particular items of costs and revenues and their progress in time are analysed there. The thesis includes a comparison with a similar chapel of Evangelical church of Czech brethren in Chrudim. In the end it sums up the way of financing the chapels.
The Chapel of St. Anežka Česká in Čihovice: Architecture and Religious activities

This work is about building-up a modern chapel and about its use. In first two chapters there is outlined history and present of Týn nad Vltavou and Čihovice, a place wehere the Chapel was built. At the same time there is mentioned connection between Čihovice and Roman Catholic parish in Týn nad Vltavou and there are stated reasons which led to decision do build a chapel indeed in Čihovice. In another chapter, more theoretic, is described typology of sacred buildings, architectic rules and interior od sacred buildings. The third thematic part is dedicated to the process of building the St Anežka Česká chapel and to a discussion about wo whom sould it be sacred. Shortly there is also described course of ceremonious sanctification of the chapel. The last part includes recitation of activities which are held in the chapel or are planned to be.
Křemže Village and Parish in the Years 1885 - 1920

This work deals with life and villages in the parish Křemže in the period 1885 to 1920. Home work contains a brief description of the emergence of villages and parishes of the first references in the historical annals, after the year 1885. Another reference to time zone are the years 1885 - 1905 from the perspective of life in the parish and Křemže of sacral buildings in this period. At the same time a separate chapter in the life and community events and intrusions Křemže parish and village life. The following chapter handles the period before the World War II, the years 1911 to 1914. Here is a breakdown done in terms of parish and community Křemže own view, and again the common life away. A separate chapter is devoted to the first veto war. Emphasis here is placed on the description of life in the village itself and the difficulties and War on the territory of the parish. The final chapter contains a description of a new independent Republic and its impact on the ethnic and political. It describes also describe trends and developments in the territory of the Catholic Church parish Křemže from 1919 - 1920.
The figural composition in the new-roman architecture

This diploma work aims to find a convenient solution of an interier design of a damaged new-roman chapel that was built in the destroyed village Kropfschlag/Mýtiny near the city Nové Hrady in the South Bohemia. The introductory theoretical part outlines problems of the World War II and the following expulsion of the Germans from the Czech border (this part is mainly related to the region of Nové Hrady and is accompanied with local eyewitnesse´s memories). In addition, it includes brief history of the village Kropfschlag/Mýtiny. This part is followed with a reflexion about problems of Czech-German relations. The introductory part leads to a search for a suitable symbol.Firstly, the symbol should aptly express the war and post-war sad events. Secondly, it should have a connection to this original land and furthermore the symbol should be appropriate that it could be installed in the interier of the damaged chapel to force the visitors to thing about the history of this land. The final part is devoted to a description of the method used for implementation of the chosen symbol. The practical part includes documentation of the above-mentioned chapel and a minimized 3D implementation of the chosen symbol.
