Systém pro řešení úloh vícekriteriálního hodnocení variant v prostředí internetu
Zavrtálek, Jan ; Jablonský, Josef (advisor) ; Kalčevová, Jana (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with description of methods and original on-line application for solving multicriteria evaluation of alternatives problems. Methods based on maximisation of utility value (WSA), minimisation of distance from ideal alternative (TOPSIS), evaluation of preference relations (ELECTRE) and evaluation along preference flows (PROMETHEE) are described and implemented in the application. The thesis introduces an original web application written in PHP language which is developed for solving multicriteria evaluation of alternatives problems in internet environment. The application running on web-server allows solving multicriteria evaluation of alternatives problems by four above mentioned methods. The application is controlled by any web browser. A run-time complexity of used algorithms is measured and discussed.
The optimalization of the renewal of vehicle park for a smaller building company
Pítr, Vítězslav ; Kuncová, Martina (advisor) ; Šindelářová, Irena (referee)
The main goal of this degree work is the application of methods of multiple criterion assessment of options for the choice of new vehicles. I have used three methods with cardinal information in this degree work. It is possible to classify these methods according to a calculation procedure, which is used for finding a compromise option. I have chosen the method of weighted sum based on the principle of the benefit maximilization, the method TOPSIS based on the distance minimalization from the ideal option, and the method ELECTRE III based on the preferential relation. I have used these methods for determination of the compromise option for the purchase of new vehicles. I have compared vehicle running costs and purchase costs with current costs delivered from a building company and then I have determinated an annual saving of costs. At the end of this degree work I have given renewal models which I have determined through the optimal method in the case of the renewal of worn-out equipment. I have analysed the problem from more views, from the view of the multiple criterion assessment of options, then from the costs view and finally from the view of renewal models.
Investment evaluation of small hydropower projects in PRE
Kovaříková, Lenka ; Kalčevová, Jana (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
In recent years the greater emphasis is placed on the renewable energy sources that are environmentally friendly. Demand for renewable energy sources is supported by government incentives, which leads to an increasing pace of investment in this sector. Prices for electricity from renewable energies are far higher than the prices of conventional electricity. If the current trend continues, it is only a matter of time before they meet. According to this fact, PRE Company decided to invest in hydropower. This thesis deals with identifying of potential investment opportunities in small hydropower plants from the PRE point of view and the subsequent evaluation of these variants on the basis of multi-criteria decision making.
Evaluation of selected EU countries
Machková, Radka ; Kalčevová, Jana (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
This diploma thesis targets the evaluation of fifteen chosen EU countries using the methods of multicriteria decision-making. The topic is elaborated from the perspective of a student of the University of Economics, Prague, who chooses a suitable country to gain experience abroad. Students' preferences are recorded in a questionnaire and grouped using direct weights estimation method. The ORESTE, WSA, TOPSIS, PROMETHEE II and MAPPAC methods are described in the thesis and applied to the data using an add-on of Microsoft Excel -- Sanna. Since the questionnaire contains a question on the students' subjective ranking of countries, it is possible to compare the two rankings (subjective and calculated) to determine whether they are comparable and the students' decision-making is consistent.
The implementation of multicriteria evaluation methods into the IZAR software application
Vilánková, Veronika ; Kalčevová, Jana (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
This thesis describes the implementation methods for multi-criteria evaluation into the software application. IZAR is a software product that solves decision problems. IZAR solves single and multi-criteria, continuous and discrete decision problems. This thesis describes the extension of application IZAR. Several methods of multi-criteria evaluation were added into application. Supplemented methods were chosen so that the extended applications use the most basic methods from the decision theory. Introductory part of the thesis describes the basic methods that have been implemented into IZAR. There is summarized the theoretical basis of each method. The central part deals with the description of each method in terms of implementation. Attention is paid to the parts of the algorithms that have been modified or extended so that the methods are universal. Finally, the thesis shows the test examples in which functionality of methods was verified. There is described a group of complicated decision problems and control conditions that were created for these problems to find the right results.
Choice of the suitable software from the viewpoint of multi-criteria decision making
Mašátová, Jana ; Kalčevová, Jana (advisor) ; Skočdopolová, Veronika (referee)
In today's world there are many different substitutes for most products and services, increasing the demands on decision-making among substitutes. In order to make a decision, it may be very helpful to use multi-criterial methods for evaluating of the options, which are available to the general public through special programs. Thank to these programs, the general public does not have to be informed in detail about multi-criterial methods and can use the convenience of multi-criteria analysis. The aim of this thesis is to describe and compare the publicly available noncommercial czech software that allows the simplification of choice when choosing from several options according to specified criteria. The thesis work is focused on discrete models of evaluation that are simpler and more suitable for pre-defined alternatives. Non-commercial programs, many of which were created at universities, are evaluated in this thesis. Furthermore, some very well-known evaluation methods, which appear in some programs, are presented.
Apply the methods of multicriterial decision making in the public sector
DUŠEK, Jan
The main purpose of this thesis was the application of the multicriterial decision making options methods on specific decision situations in the public sector. The task was to present the most important methods and to show the possibility of their use in reality. From the methods requiring ordinal information I chose the Cook - Seiford method which can be utilized when the sources are limited. From the cardinal data requiring methods I chose the Weighted Sum Approach method and the AHP method (based on the calculation of values of the utility function), the TOPSIS method (based on the minimization of distance from the ideal option) and the ELECTRE I. method (based on the plotting of the preferential relation).
Creation of an appropriate system for selection of contractors for specific enterprise ZKL
Nebylicyna, Maria ; Švecová, Lenka (advisor) ; Bočánek, Radim (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to develop an appropriate system for selection of contractors for specific enterprise ZKL. Bachelor's thesis was written directly in the company ZKL, in its headquarters in Brno. The impulse for making the new systém of suppliers selecting was the restructuring of the whole ZLK Group. The theoretical part focuses of decision-making theory, which moslty describes methods of decision making. Another part is about the purchase, the importance and functions of purchase and the related supplier selection. The practical part will analyze the current situation in the purchasing process ZKL. I also propose a system for selecting suppliers based on the theoretical knowledge. . Finally, there is a directive for the selection of suppliers.
Evaluation of territories from the perspective of multicriteria decision making
Vondrušková, Hana ; Kalčevová, Jana (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with selecting the best places to live from the student perspective, the University of Economics, Prague. The paper briefly describes methods of multicriteria decision making. Selected methods (ELECTRE III, PROMETHEE II, WSA, TOPSIS and ORESTE) are then used to assess regions of the Czech Republic. This role is based on real data of the Czech Republic region and the students' preferences regarding place of residence. Information about the preferences of students was obtained by questionnaire survey of students of the University of Economics, Prague. Data processing was used in addition to MS Excel - Sanna.
