At the end of the chapter was summarized anonymous survey conducted through a questionnaire sent to the owner of the optical access networks, the output of which were the parameters of the networks. All collected data served as a source for design creation of the standard variants of optical access networks along with the technical specifications and financial balances. For individual network designs were developed models in the simulation environment used for the analysis. The last chapter briefly compared strengths and weaknesses of created variants of the optical access networks.
Bus wiring systems for complex building management
Mokrý, Lukáš ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to examine current opportunities of bus wiring systems for complex building management, mainly its power and economic evaluation. It can be simply called intelligent electrical installation. I will examine two systems from INELS and ABB company. These systems contain functional components, mainly modules and controllers. By means of other materials, I’ll create a panel. Components will be placed there and electrically connected. After this, systems will be put into operation and programmed by means of their software. The next step is measuring of quatities during the various conditions of systems and consumption, which is one of the main aims of the thesis. Two apparatuses will be used for measuring. This thesis itself will contain theoretical analysis of systems, their description, using the way of operation and main advantages and disadvantages. Single components and complete process of measuring and working in laboratory will be described. An overall evaluation and comparison of the systems from various points of view, including the price, will be put together from results.

Friedl, Jan ; Roleček, Jiří (referee) ; Fedra, Petr (advisor)
The presented work concerns problems of more effective using hardware and also free software. The first part of my work presents generally free GNU/Linux distributions and this part is concentrated on two distributions. The first is Red Hat Enterprise Linux which is installed in the server of the hospital information system Clinicom. The second is live distribution Slax that is used for testing of terminal connection to the hospital information system Clinicom. The second part of my work is generally concentrated on the hospital information systems and there is presented the firm SMS solution at the end. It is the hospital information system Clinicom. The next part is generally concentrated on the workload server monitoring. It monitors both userlogins and allocated memory size. Then there are discused problems of solution of unthought-of events, for example blackout, and the one solution is described there. The last part is concentrated on implementation of the security connection to the hospital information system Clinicom and it presents live distribution Slax as distribution for thin client.
Young adolescents and their opinion on the status of marriage
ŠEFČÍKOVÁ, Květuše
In my thesis, I dealt with adolescents and their outlook on the status of marriage. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the first part, basic concepts including family, teens or marriage are defined. This section also describes different stages of family development, from 8000 BC to the present day. Description of these stages is followed by another section dedicated to Evelyne Sullerot and her three stages, which the family unit went through during the 20th century. Following are predictions of futurists on family development in the future. In the theoretical part I also included the views of prominent personalities who were devoted to the family, such as Henry Sumner Maine, Herbert Spencer, Frédéric Guillaume le Play, Emanuel Chalupný or Tomas Garrigue Masaryk. The final section of the theoretical part is devoted to statistical data concerning the number of marriages and divorces, supplemented by graphs. Also discussed is the role of the state on the matter of the family. The practical part describes the objectives and the methodology used. The main objective was to explore the views of teenagers on the status of marriage and learn about their preferences in the matter. I set this research question: What is the attitude of adolescents on marriage? The study group consisted of 150 students from high schools and colleges from SS OSaP and VOS Ceske Budejovice. The used method of data acquisition questionnaire by own design. The method of data analysis was basic descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis of the responses to open questions. Individual answers to the questions are summarized in tables and graphs and the obtained results are compared to results from other studies with similar theme. Of the 150 respondents nearly 55% of students considered marriage an important part of coexistence. All age groups inclined to two opinions: that marriage is an integral part of a long-term relationship and that it manifects reassurance for the partner. There was also an agreement among age groups concerning the optimum age appropriate for entry into marriage - between 25 to 30 years of age. According to the results more than half of the respondents wants to get married and a large part of the adolescents desire to live as a couple but unmarried. 2% of respondents want stay single and 7.3% of respondents want the benefit of a registered partnership. The results also show that the answers of the respondents reflected the type of family they grew up in, whether complete or broken. Surprisingly, girls and boys from broken families value marriage much more than respondents from intact families.
Socioeconomic Stratification of Puppils at Two Grade of Primary Schools
ONDRÁŠEK, Stanislav
The present bachelor thesis entitled "Socioeconomic stratification of pupils at the upper primary school" is concerned with the issues of social stratification, or, as the case may be, socioeconomic stratification and related impacts on victims. In general, teaching staff will focus on physical bullying; however, physical bullying, which is linked to socioeconomic stratification, is not brought to attention to an adequate extent. The theoretical part describes in succession basic terms regarding the bachelor thesis, such as a small social group, group conflicts, power and its use in the society or social security. The objective of the thesis is to determine if pupils at the upper primary school are stigmatized for reasons of socioeconomic stratification, and based on this objective, the following hypothesis was set forth: "Pupils at the upper primary school are stigmatized for reasons of socioeconomic stratification." The research part of the present thesis characterizes a research sample consisting of pupils of primary schools [ZŠ] Volary and Bezdrevská in České Budějovice. The research examined the total of 216 respondents, with 122 girls and 94 boys. The respondents were addressed through educational advisors at schools and then given questionnaires with 13 questions. Questionnaires were assessed and the data gained were subsequently processed in graphs: a chi-quadrat test was used to verify the hypothesis. Importantly, our calculations did not confirm the constructed hypothesis. The following discussion compares the research findings with literature that engages in social stratification problems. Possible contributions of the thesis to the said problems, as well as a number of possible solutions, such as an introduction of school uniforms, are stated in the conclusion.

Social situation of children suffering from enuresis
KLEČKOVÁ, Romana
Social situation of children suffering from enuresis In the process of socialization, people often achieve a certain social status (grading on social ladder). The social development and position of the person are principally influenced by their health state. This is the basic determinant of the whole socialisation process and of maintaining the achieved social status of the man/woman, as the social position of a completely healthy and efficient man is completely different than the position of a chronically ill person, with a defect or limitation of movement. Enuresis is one of the most frequent long-term problems in paediatrics. A number of epidemiologic studies has shown that 15-20% of five-year-old and 10% of seven-year-old children have problems with urine leakage. Incontinency brings psychological and social problems to children. These problems may cause considerable handicaps to children. Enuresis may be stressing for children, may initiate the feeling of shame, failure, inferiority. Moreover this means a limitation in the usual activity for a number of them (travelling, participation in camps, school trips etc.) The target of the thesis was to find out if the illness worsens the social status of the child in the society of contemporaries and how. The research was performed at the summer camp for children suffering from enuresis and encopresis, organised by the Faculty of Health and Social Studies of the South Bohemian University in České Budějovice. In the thesis, the following methods and techniques of data collection were applied: method of observation (hidden participant), method of document analysis (contents analysis), method of questioning (non-controlled interview). It was found out by the research that the social status of children suffering from enuresis is endangered. Within social interaction these children avoid the other children on one hand as they are ashamed because of their illness, on the other hand they need social contact with contemporaries. However, all the children with enuresis do not have necessarily such experiences. The thesis has shown that the orientation on the personal identity of the child is necessary in the social work (i.e. the children have to learn to respect their own personality and to strengthen their good and healthy self-confidence).
Nurse status today and in the future
KOZÁKOVÁ, Martina
Nowadays the status of a medical nurse represents a fairly actual topic. It is a profession where many changes had to be undertaken during a few years beginning with scholars education up to a graduation of a nurse and their responsibilities. A nurse not only plays the role of a caretaker and a helper but is also an individually thinking professional who has received a proper education and has his or her competence bound by the jurisdiction. The theoretical part focuses on the status of a nurse from the sociological viewpoint, on its development from a historical perspective, on changes taking place in the present and stretching to the future and on the trends we might expect in this profession. The practical part contains information obtained by the research which focused on the perception of the status of a nurse by patients, nurses and physicians. The aim of this graduation research was to question nurses in the Czech Republic about their contentment with their current status and explore their future visions, furthermore to obtain opinions on the topic from both patients and physicians. The H1 hypothesis was: nurses are not content with their current social status, was proved correct. The H2 hypothesis was: the ideas of a nurse about his or her future status in the society are positive was proved correct. The H3 hypothesis was: the assessment of the status of a nurse by a patient is negative, wasn´t correct. The H4 hypothesis: physicians do not follow the current status of a nurse, correct. The H5 hypothesis was: physicians do not display any interest in following the status of a nurse in the future was correct.
