What happens in Vegos does not stay in Vegos
Barczi, Šimon ; Lahvička, Jiří (advisor) ; Svoboda, Miroslav (referee)
The main objective of this paper is to measure and examine demand for commodities offered in the Los Vegos bar in Marianske Lazne. In my experiment, I will be randomly changing price of draught beer in range from 23 to 33 CZK for 30 consecutive days. Each day, I will observe consumption of all goods offered in the bar. I will also analyze a year-long time line with detailed consumption of every product the bar offers . I will measure the own-price elasticity of beer and the cross-price elasticities of other products. My paper will be useful for bar owners to set an optimal price and stock of the goods they offer.
Inclined plane
KUBÍČEK, Martin
This final project deals with physical analysis of simple machine - inclined plane. After theoretical analysis is nessesary to build a measurement device. This device is used for measurement of friction coefficient and uniform acceleration in practical exercises.
The Use of Emotions Fear in Social Marketing
Šenková, Simona ; Karlíček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Hrkal, Marek (referee)
The bachelor thesis "The Use of Emotions Fear in Social Marketing" is concerned with finding an appropriate degree of fear in social campaigns, which try to change attitudes and behavior. The theoretical part defines basic terminology of marketing communication, social psychology, and compares the feasibility study of the topic. In the practical part was conducted own research, which compared responses of participants of experiment on different intensities of fear. The results were compared not only between different intensities used fear, but were analyzed as well attitudes of women and men. The last part interprets the achieved outputs and suggests further practice in this area.
Evaluate the influence of Bio-algeen on selected indicators in the artificial breeding of the Common Pheasant.
SAVULA, Petr
The aim of the work was to evaluate the influence of Bio-algeen on selected indicators in the artificial breeding of the Common Pheasant. These selected indicators were mortality and weight gain of the Pheasants. The research has been conducted in the pheasantry Černiš by České Budějovice on selected flocks of the Common Pheasant. The products that have been used in the experiment were Biopolym FZT and Biopolym Granulate. Biopolym FZT was injected into water in feeding pumps and Biopolym Granulate was added to feeding mixtures. Both products have been added to food every day. It has been found out by the experiment itself that both used products have an effect on the weight gain of the Common Pheasant, but they have no impact on mortality.
Innovated set for demonstrative experiments from electronics
VAŠÍČEK, Petr
The first part of this thesis is focused on the advantages of using the experiments during the physics education and their educational values. Furthermore, some types of experiments, their correct metodology of implementation and some other aspects which should be given an appropriate attention by the teacher are theoretically described. Then, some types of demonstrational sets and their brief history are described. The attention is aimed at the demonstrational set of DIDAKTIK, its content and composition. One chapter is devoted to the research of schools equipment for using the demonstrational experiments of electricity and magnetism and their evaluations. The last part deals with some experiments which can be made within this set, their documentation and evaluation. Further, there were worksheets created for some of these experiments. Two of these sheets were used among primary schools for didactic exploring and the reasults were evaluated.
Creative transformation of waste materials in kindergarten
REITHAROVÁ, Eva
In my diploma thesis I deal with the usageof the waste materials in the nursery schoul based on the expenence and the manipulation. The thesis consists of thrce parts. In theoretical part I deal with the type sof the waste materials, the description of materials and the ecological adecation in preschool age. The practical part is based on the metodology which id tounded on the experimental game and the manipulation with the waste materials. The metodology is based on the everyday subjekt in the nursery schoul.
An abandoned site (A serie of wall paintings in the environs of an urban outskirts)
MALÁK, Martin
In this theoretic-practically focused diploma thesis I deal with the issue of an abandoned site and its potencial for the art creation itself. Firs I attempt to foreshow the modern aspects of the art in relation to the urban outskirts creation. I focus on the distinct graffiti phenomenon an its role within the cultural developement of the modern society. In connection with forementioned I aspire to define the phenomenon of site and space. Furthermore I adress the importance of the outskirts with reference to the environmental psychology. Afterwards I carry through a critical reflexion of the theoretical knowledge fragments and apply new findings while resolving the creative task. In the practical part of this thesis I create triptych of wall paintings in the environs of an urban outskirts on the topic of an abandoned site and consequently I carry out their explication.
Reasons for using Marihuana and frequency of its use
STACHOVÁ, Veronika
The theme of my bachelor thesis is called Reasons for Using Marihuana and the Frequency of its Use. No other drug divides the professional public as much as marihuana does. New findings of international research lead to increasingly hot discussions to what extent marihuana is harmful to health and, especially, why it is so popular with young people. It remains an alarming fact that experiments with marihuana occur at lower and lower ages. Cases of first use of cannabis before the age of thirteen are no exception nowadays. Thanks to continuing scientific research, information on cannabis drugs increases, but the sufficient amount of the newly obtained data may be doubted because all prevention efforts fail especially with marihuana. On the one hand, this drug is presented as harmless and its risks are played down, and, on the other hand, absurd deterring myths are made up. This bachelor thesis investigates the motives that lead young people to using cannabis drugs, and the extent of awareness of health risks resulting from its use. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with factors that increase the risk of experimenting and thus the resulting use of marihuana, as well as the actual motives of the use of cannabis. Last but not least, it describes individual health risks. The theoretical part also deals with the theory of marihuana as the initiation drug. The investigation aim of this thesis is to find out the motives leading to the use of cannabis, and to try to survey the knowledge of health risks of marihuana users. To achieve these aims, I used the qualitative research by means of the conversation method. There are altogether eight questions concerning these areas: the circumstances and motive of the first time use of marihuana, circumstances under which the user consumes the drug, negative experiences caused by acute intoxication, the main motive of cannabis use at present, further the knowledge of health risks connected with the use of the drug and other habit-forming substances, the theory of marihuana of the gateway drug and making marihuana legal. The research set consists of secondary school pupils. Four hypotheses were established on the basis of the research results. Hypothesis No. 1: Risks connected with the use of marihuana are underestimated by the users themselves. Hypothesis No. 2: Adolescents using marihuana do not have sufficient knowledge of health risks. Hypothesis No. 3: The negative effect of marihuana (bad trip) does not motivate most of its users to abstain from it. Hypothesis No. 4: The most frequent motive of the first time use is curiosity.
The air track
KAKAŠ, Štefan
This thesis concern deal with many problems: using computers at school education, mechanical construction and development hardware and software of the school didactic utility with the name air track whose financial costs for fabrication I tried to minimize for aim repeated using in the school arrangement where it should service as utility education kinematics and dynamics.
Ballistic pendulum
PEŠEK, Milan
The subject of my thesis is ballistic pendulum. I am describing here not only the function and the physical characteristics of this device but also I am proposing experimental procedures of tasks that can be measured. Then these tasks are processed and evaluated. Furthermore, the above mentioned device will be available to students for any kind of experiments.
