The practical part is focused on the economic evaluation of the effectiveness and risk analysis of the project implemented by the municipality.

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of economic efficiency and the financial feasibility of the project realised by the municipality. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical background chapter, the author introduces the topic of the public sector and the public investment project. Furthermore, this thesis discusses methods which are used for evaluation of economic efficiency of the public projects and also their financing. The second part deals with the case study of the parking house project in Litomyšl. The author uses knowledge from the theoretical part to evaluate the effectiveness of the project and possible sources of financing.

There are several types oc costs analysis described. The practical part is focused on the economic efficiency of the already implemented public project evaluation.

The topic of the bachelor’s thesis is financial and economic feasibility of public project. The theoretical part specifies issues of public sector, economic evaluation and basic characteristics of public project. This part provides assessment approaches of financial feasibility of public project and gives examples of individual ways of financing. The thesis also includes cost assessment methods of public project. The last part is practical evaluation of economic and financial feasibility applied on specific example.

This diploma thesis’ aim is to evaluate an economic effectiveness of the particular investment projects in the public sector. It describes theoretical possibilities and methods of evaluating an investment project generally (not only public one). It also deals with ways how to get financial assurance in the area of public investment. The practical part of the thesis contains the assessment of the economic effectiveness of the particular investment projects in the public sector, where theoretical approach given in the first part of this thesis is applied. The economic effectiveness was elaborated both for financial assurance of the project and for alternative funding from EU resources.

The aim of this paper is to approach possibility of financing investment construction project from perspective of smaller public investor – the village. As part of this work will be evaluated and assessed the possibility of financial acquisition of project Complex revitalization of center Cechy pod Kosirem in specific ways of financing and also demonstrates advantages of implementation of co-financing mainly from grants of the European Union. Further focuses on the proposed acquisition of subsidies from structural funds as an external source of financing of construction project.

Other topics are SWOT analysis and the logical framework metod of the project. The theoretical part also mentioned the issue of brownfields. Finally, it deals with economic evaluation of the project. The practical part deals with the economic valuation of the particular project of regional development. In this part there are the findings from the theoretical part.

The intention of public investments, financial sources and stage of the project life cycle are described in the theoretical part of the thesis. There are also characterized all the analyses used in the practical part as well as financial and economical evaluation of the project. Practical part is focused on economical and financial efficiency of already realized public project which should serve as an example of described theoretical abilities in practice.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to grasp a financial assurance of projects in the public sector. In its theoretical part the possibilities of financial assurance in the case of building contract in the public sector are described. This part also defines key terms used in this subject. The second part of the bachelor's thesis, the practical one, shows the financial assurance of the particular public investment project, which already has been realized; the practical case serves as an instance of application of theoretical opportunities described above in the practical realization.
