The integration of disabled students into the secondary education
SVAČINOVÁ, Jana
Over the years there has been a lot of discussion about the integration of the disabled students, and the opinions differ no matter if it is made by a professional or non-professional. At best each student should be integrated into the local school according to his or her permanent address. However, not every school is open to this phenomenon. The integration process has its limits and its success is dependent not only on possibilities of the integrated person but also on a lot of factors, inter alia on the conditions of the school as well. The Bachelor´s thesis deals with the integration of the disabled students into the secondary education and consists of two parts. The theoretical part defines the basic terms which are related to the problem of the integration, legislative measures as well as a historical view. Then it includes factors conditioning the successful integration. The objective of the practical part was to find out how many secondary schools in České Budějovice are prepared for the integration of the disabled students, it means what conditions there are in these schools, for example barrier-free access, supportive measures, and so on. The study used a qualitative research which was done only in the grammar schools, secondary vocational schools and conservatoire. I addressed the management of 22 secondary schools, out of which 7 schools refused to take part in the research. Thus, the research sample consists of 15 school representatives (respondents). I was given the information from the school headmasters, deputy head teachers or careers advisors. The answers of the respondents resulted in the fact that currently only three secondary schools are ready to integrate the disabled students.

Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease and social impact on subjects suffering from it
POVOLNÁ, Ludmila
The bachelor thesis titled Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease and social impact on subjects suffering from it deals with the issues relating to this chronic disease and the change in quality of life in subjects suffering from it. The theoretical part explains etiopathogenesis, clinical symptoms, diagnostic criteria, course of the disease, treatment, and disorder prognosis. Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease is neurofibromatosis type. It is a genetic heterogenous disease with autosomal dominant inheritance. It falls into a group of neurocutaneous syndromes, which are clinically manifested in common neurological and dermatological symptomatologies. Common clinical symptoms of Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease are café-au-lait macules, multiple cutaneous and subcutaneous neurofibromas, hyperpigmented patches, optic gliomas, or typical bone changes. The research part is based on a qualitative survey carried out by the method of questioning, and the technique of half-structured interviews. One interview involved mothers of a total of 10 children who had or were under suspicion of having Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease. The second interview involved three selected patients with Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease. The quality of life was assessed through SEIQoL method. The target of the thesis was to determine the social impact of the disease on a subject and his/her closest family. The survey showed that the impact is, when there is a person suffering from Recklinghausen{\crq}s disease, significant and utterly comparable with those observed in other chronic disorders. The disease may have, to a certain extent, a gradual negative impact on a patient{\crq}s self-respect and change the quality of his/her life. The outcome of SEIQoL assessment implies that respondents in both groups consider health to be the most important stimulus to live; and the degree of satisfaction in each subject has a close relation to his/her personal concept of quality of life.

BROŽOVÁ, Pavlína
Everyone is a unique personality with the right to full life, which includes, together with the love and recognition of the right to education. Children with mental disabilities are evolving slowly, but it does not mean that they are less sensitive, perhaps on the contrary. Integration, as well as other other topics, not only fans, who have highlighted a opěvují, but also the defendant who completely reject it. Not even one vytknout view anyone of these people. The success of integration depends on several factors dependent on each other. Among the various factors affecting the integration of organization and preparedness are all actors in this process. Inherent in the readiness of people is not only an integrated, but also integration as such. According to the research hypothesis H1 is the position of specialized childcare facilities is positive, thereby refuted hypothesis. Hypothesis H2 clearly confirmed that the parents want to integrate their children with mental disabilities in mainstream nursery schools. Neither hypothesis H3 is not confirmed, since the position of senior staff of nursery schools for children with mental retardation in Ceske Budejovice is as positive as senior staff of nursery schools in Jindrichuv Hradec. It added that although the position of the integration as a whole is positive, as regards the integration of children with mental disabilities and then it is welcome, but only in the lighter forms of disability.

Employment Opportunities for Clients with Mental Retardation in the Institutions of the Social Services
HOLCZEROVÁ, Vladimíra
At present, employment opportunities and subsequent remuneration for people with mental retardation are often discussed. The opinions differ on their right to equal opportunities in employment. They are either considered incapable to work due to their retardation or, they are supposed to be financially secure, thanks to the state and do not have to work. I am persuaded that all work should be paid. This Bachelor´s work is based upon my 16 years of work in one of the social services` institution. The Social Services Act No.108/2006 Coll. which came into act on 1 January 2007 together with the Quality Standards of Social Services have brought distinctive changes in providing social services. While the application of these legislative standards has been very important, it has been very difficult. The staff of the social services institutions and the work of this staff are often underestimated. They help socialise their clients through their work and they need mutual support and cooperation to do that. The clients of the social services institutions apply their working skills in these institutions and also in the open labour market where motivation plays an important role. They need to be praised and appreciated, but remuneration has become an inseparable part of this process. The clients who are employed demonstate that they are capable to live independently on one hand and be useful on the other. All sensible activities improve our clients´ maturity of their behaviour, which leads to better self-control, creating new interests and aid in the development their practical skills. The aim of my work has been to gain information about job opportunities of these clients of the social services institutions and investigate how much these opportunities depend upon the location of the institution. I´ve tried to learn if these clients have been able to find jobs inside or outside the institutions. I believe my work will inspire those who are interested in this situation or it will be of help in dealing with this problem.
