Differences of functional load diagnostics results in tests on a treadmill and cycle ergometer
Hampejsová, Kateřina ; Kovářová, Lenka (advisor) ; Horčic, Josef (referee)
AABBSSTTRRAACCTT Tittle: Differences of functional load diagnostics results in tests on a treadmill and cycle ergometer. Thesis' objective: The aim of this thesis is comparing functional load diagnostics results of FTVS students with triathlets. Next aim is to compare results of FTVS students in their group in two tests up to a vita maxima - treadmill a cycle ergometer. Methods: In this thesis we use descriptive analysis method for obtaining information about this issue. For data obtaining we used two tests up to a vita maxima - treadmill and cycle ergometer. The resulting data is processed in tables and statistically evaluated using Wilcoxon test. We use percentage points for comparison of the results. Results: The results of functional load diagnostics test on cycle ergometer FTVS students are at 1,5% lower than the treadmill test. The results of these tests are different, but they are for FTVS students more alternative than for the triathletes, the difference was 4%. Differences of resulting functional load diagnostics values measured in tests on treadmill and cycle ergometer are not statistically significant. Key words: Endurance abilities, test up to a vita maxima, triathlon
A Comparison of heart rate, lactic acid production and swimming speed in a flowing channel and a swimming pool
Kozel, Tomáš ; Horčic, Josef (advisor) ; Kovářová, Lenka (referee)
Name of Work Comparison of heart-rate, lactate levels, swimming speed in streamlined (aerodynamic) channel and swimming pool. Goal of Work To determine whether the same swimming speed affects the heart-rate and blood lactate in exactly the same way, in both the aerodynamic channel and in the swimming pool. To check the velocity of water flowing in a streamlined channel. Method Data collection (blood lactate, values of heart-rate, speed of swimming) will be done first in the swimming pool and then in the streamlined channel, the so-called FLUM. Probands will swim progressively faster in swimming sections of equal length. To obtain lactate levels, the invasive method will be used. Cardiac frequency will be obtained from heart-rate monitors, which each proband will have mounted on the body throughout testing. To verify the speed of flowing water, measuring equipment (propellers) borrowed from the Czech Agricultural University Prague, will be used. Results The work provides information on whether there is a difference in values or internal performance when comparing the speed in swimming pools with the speed in a streamlined channel. If so, the researcher will create a formula to convert the swimming speed in the aerodynamic channel to the speed level in a swimming pool. To create a formula that would...
Evaluation of force presumptions for swimming triathletes from Czech team in training cycle 2009-2010
Švejda, Roman ; Horčic, Josef (advisor) ; Kovářová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Evaluation of force presumptions for swimming triathletes from Czech team in training cycle 2010-2011 Intention of work: Evaluation of specific force presumptions for swimming and ability maximal utilit force efficiency in long time stress, wide spektrum of triatlonist from beginners to elite czech competitors. For evaluation we used 3 indikators: 1. average Power Output - PO - [W] 2. average power output on kg body weight - PO.kg-1 - [W.kg-1 ] 3. complete work - W - [Nm] Method: Testing on swim trainer Biokinetic by tests which simulated free style strokes and butterfly strokes. 10 strokes by free style and butterfly styl, 50 and 100 strokes by butterfly style. Results: Some people lives in mistake about their directionality. Someone think, that he is better for long distance, and oposit eis true. Lot of people, in our test, made more work [Nm] in free style strokes, than butterfly strokes. More offen people made more work [Nm] in butterfly strokes. Our people swim butterfly just especialy and that's the reason, why they have more force in crowl. Keywords: Biokinetic, triathlon, swimming, testing, swim force.
Comparing levels of endurance capacity at swimmers and triathlonists in South bohemian region\\
KOSTOHRYZ, Jakub
The Bachelor´s Thesis concerns comparing the perseverance of a small group triathlets and swimmers in the Sout Bohemia Region. The goal of this thesis is to detect possible differences between perseverance abilities. I researched perseverance abilities in two tests. Harvard step test and vo2 max test. I processed the consequences into synopthic graphs. The thesis should help small groups trainers to test sportsmen perseverance abilities.
