The case conference as an instrument of social worker at the Department of social and legal protection of children
ARNOŠTOVÁ, Kateřina
The bachelor thesis deals with a case conference, which is one of the tools of social work with the family. The aim of the work is to find out how social workers in region of Jindřichův Hradec use this method and if they perceive it as an effective tool of their work. The theoretical part of the work is based on the study of professional literature related to the topic. It is focused on definition of terms such as social work with the family, social and legal protection of children, the role of a social worker and a case conference. Topics such as family, family functions, non-functional family or social work are explained here. The practical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of research questions through a qualitative research strategy. The necessary data were gained through interviews with social workers who have personal experience with the implementation of the case conference. I categorized the gained material by the method of open coding and subsequently I analysed it. On the basis of these steps, it was possible to evaluate the goal of the bachelor's thesis and make a conclusion. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that case conferences are widely used by social workers, as it is a method that they consider very beneficial and effective. Thanks to this method, the work with the family has become faster and more coordinated. We can see the successes that social workers record after its implementation. The gained results could be used in praxis as a base for a deeper contemplation on the topic or they can become an inspiration for social workers who work with this method.
Coordinated Rehabilitation in the Nursing Home
ZATLOUKALOVÁ, Taťána
The diploma thesis deals with the use of coordinated rehabilitation in a nursing home. The main goal of the thesis was to find out the possibilities and limits of providing coordinated rehabilitation in a nursing home from the perspective of members of a multidisciplinary team. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the basic concepts were defined. In the practical part, the main research question was answered: How do the members of the multidisciplinary team perceive the provision of coordinated rehabilitation in a nursing home? A qualitative research strategy, a questioning method and a semi-structured interview technique were chosen for the research survey. Data analysis was performed using elements of grounded theory. The research set consisting of 8 informants was selected through intentional selection and purposeful sampling. The research showed that the interviewed social workers are aware of coordinated rehabilitation, in contrast to the health and care workers, who perceive it only as medical rehabilitation. After clarifying the concept, these workers were also able to name and classify activities into individual components of coordinated rehabilitation. The research shows that informants perceive the improvement of care, provision of comprehensive care, effective cooperation of a multidisciplinary team, transmission of complete information about clients, provision of experts, education and expansion of the range of activities and therapies as possibilities for providing coordinated rehabilitation. As limits of the provision of coordinated rehabilitation, informants perceive the absence of legislative definition, which causes the lack of information about this concept, lack of funds and methodological procedures for coordinated rehabilitation, reluctance to cooperate, employee overload, lack of time and professional staff. The results of the research will serve as a basis for improving the quality of care provided using the concept of coordinated rehabilitation in a selected nursing home.
Cochem Practice in the Childcare System
LANGOVÁ, Jana
The work is focused on the topic "Cochem practice in the child care system", ie. to the system of adjustment of care and nutrition for minors and the use of elements of one of the approaches. The aim of this work is to find out what are the differences between Cochem practice and the current system of decision-making on child care. In the diploma thesis, we first focused on the institute of family, parenthood and rights and obligations. In the event of a parental conflict, who and how is involved in it, which entities are involved in resolving it or may be involved. We approached the possibilities of an amicable solution and focused in more detail on the Cochem practice, where we compared this approach with a model common in our country and legally based. Cochem practice is based on four basic principles. It is about resolving a dispute between parents as quickly as possible, maintaining parental responsibility for the child for both parents, preferences for parental agreement, if necessary with the help of experts within a multidisciplinary team. We have chosen a qualitative form of research to meet the goals. For the purposes of the research, the method of semi-structured interview was chosen. First, a preliminary research was carried out, then the research itself was carried out. To supplement, we used content analysis of the data. The research sample was selected by the Snow-ball method. and in its final form numbered 13 communication partners. Based on the evaluation of data obtained from the research, we can state that certain differences can be seen between the compared groups. Within the framework of Cochem practice, specific terms of some steps concerning the course of proceedings are elaborated in more and more detail, as well as the competences of individual actors within the framework of cooperation in a multidisciplinary team. The key is speed of proceedings to avoid unnecessary escalation of the dispute and escalation of accompanying problems. Parents are led to re-assume parental responsibility. In contrast, in the second group, the individual professions do not cooperate intensively or closely, the proceedings on the regulation of education and care for minors take a relatively long time, decisions are much more often made authoritatively. It is therefore possible to state that the aim of the work was fulfilled and the research question was answered.

Art therapy is a therapeutic and cultivation process using psychological and artistic means to impress the client. Successful rehabilitation is based on early, smooth and coordinated efforts to involve persons with disabilities in everyday activities of life as quickly and as widely as possible. This activation can also be achieved by involving art therapy. The theoretical part consists of two basic chapters. The first chapter deals with the concept of coordinated rehabilitation and its theoretical level. The following subchapters deal with the history of coordinated rehabilitation, international classification of functional abilities, disability and health, as well as topics such as disability, disability classification, multidisciplinary up to health team, as well as social and occupational rehabilitation. The second chapter describes art therapy and its theoretical definition. Afterwards, art therapy will be described in terms of components of coordinated rehabilitation and its concept or legal definition. The aim of this thesis is to find out how can art therapy in the system of coordinated rehabilitation contribute to successful rehabilitation of the client. For the empirical part a qualitative research method was chosen. This type of research was chosen due to the limited number of respondents and in order to gain new knowledge in the above mentioned disciplines. The obtained results can be used to create a feedback tool in the research facility, which can then be used to improve the quality of care provided. This thesis can be further used as a source of information for future clients and their families.
