The development of graphic expression by primary school children
VILINGEROVÁ, Isabela
Present work deals with the graphomotoric development of children in grammar school age. The theoretical part characterizes this developmental period in terms of developmental psychology. Especially, describing the cognitive essential components for graphic expressions, namely thinking, intelligence, perception, attention, memory, imagination, language skills and creativity. Moreover there is the outline of ontogenetic development of writing and drawing in the ontogenetic phase. The practical part describes the scientific activity in which they are compared to short texts and figure drawings from pupils in the 1st and 5th grade of grammar school. There has been created criteria dealing with the evaluation of fonts and artwork. The basic of these criteria could be observed in changes occurring from 1st to 5th grammar school grade. Graphic expression of individual pupils is analyzed verbally.
Graphomotorical readiness of children entering elementary school from the perspective of kindergarten and primary school teachers

The bachelor work focuses on the graphomotoric readiness of children upon their admission to an elementary school. Its first part covers a theoretical knowledge on child development from the motoric, graphic, and graphomotoric aspect. Then it describes initial writing as well as current curricula for pre-school and elementary education in writing. The second practical part is devoted to educational research on perception of readiness of preschool children in terms of the development of their graphomotoric skills. The issue is examined foremostly by questionnaire method involving teachers of kindergartens and first classes of elementary schools. Other research methods as well as the analysis of data and their assessment are described.
Genesis of portrait: The study of family members and transformation of interpretation of family portrait

Václav Švadlena, thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part deals with the portrait its history, forms of portraiture and the gradual transition from painting to photography. The theoretical work contains chapters devoted to the authors: Francisco Goya and Alberto Giacometti. The practical part contains a set of sketches in the form of artist´s books exploring family genetic markers. I tis supplemented by the cycle of portraits the tetraptych of large-scale drawings. The aim is to inform about the phenomenon of a portrait, to create the artist´s books of sketches and a set of large drawings family portraits.
Children Graphic Activities at the Beginnig of Their School Attendance

This thesis focuses on the artistic production of the children in the preschool period. The theoretical part is devoted to the development of art expression of children with special reference to the pre-school period and the period of primary school age. On the basis of scholarly literature and avaiable research findings there is development characterized in other areas (cognitive, emotional, social, etc.). Research of my practical part analyzes the art expression of selected children from kindergarten to the first classes of primary school. It observes the development of visual rendering (particularly its formal aspects) in connection with the start of compulsory school attendance.
Ontogenesis of Art Expression according to Viktor Lowenfeld and the Graphic Activities of Present-day Adolescents

This diploma thesis deals with art creation of adolescents and early adolescents. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part specifies a teen years period including biological and psychological changes and it also specifies the development of teen years. The attention is also focused on the ontogenesis of art demonstration according to C. Burnt´s, H. H. Luquert´s and particularly V Lowenfeld´s stages. The practical part deals with the analysis of collected research material of tenagers between the ages of 11-16 years. The goal of this thesis is to find out if the art demonstration of present-day teen-agers responses to the ontogenesis model which is described by V. Lovenfeld.
Development drawings of preschool children

A bachelor thesis is devided into two parts a theoretical and a practical part. The target of this thesis is to monitor the progress in drawing of preschool children and to outline how a teacher can support this progress. In a theoretical part a preschool child is characterized by accent on a progress of his visual and drawing exhibition. A visual activity, especially the progress of drawing exhibition, is associated with planning of activities in a kindergarten (following the class educational program, school eduational program). In a practical part I form my own program which focuses on a progress of drawing exhibition which I realised practically with children in a kindergarten. I practice a pedagogical diagnosis of children's drawing exhibition before the start and after the end of the program. I monitor a progress of drawing of an individual child. For outlining of drawing out of a kindergarten, I hand out questionnares to parents in order to find out how children draw at home.
The children's creative expression and peculiarities

My bachelor's work is focused on visual children's speech and development, specifically a development focused on children's drawing and their acting in the last year in the nursary school. In my theoretically part I describe the period of time before the children go to the primary school. In the practical part I follow two representative children and I try to notice what changes the children made and what quality level they have before attending primary school. I add to the practical part some suggestion about development in the children pre-school drawing.

Abstract In my thesis, I am dealing with heraldry as a sciense of two worlds. There is an introduction as well as its historical function in the first chapter. It?s origin, evolution in time and value for modern society along with the basic rules for creation of crests as heraldry artifacts is listed here as well. In the next chapter, heraldry is defined as a specific form of art with fixed and stable order. Part of the work is a convolute consisting ten drawn pictures of heraldic figures, which are based on heraldic tradition, but closing on its modern image of logotypes. Description and process of their creation are included in the practical section along with the design of utilization heraldry as a source of inspiration for teaching art on a second grade in elementary school.
System and prescribing tolerances according to ČSN, EN and ISO with focus on accuracy of dimensions and geometry

This work focuses on the ways of controlling the size and shape of inaccuracies, which are set by the standards. The historical background in the development of the technical standards in our country is also mentioned. Furthermore, the introductory chapter draws the attention to the problems of written interpretation of the dimensional and formative accuracy as referred to EN and ISO standards. The following part of this paper explains the symbols and basic terminology, types of tolerances and their entries on the drawings. Next chapter concentrates on the correct interpretation of the drawings and theirs written description. The collection of figurative pictures is also attached. Finally, at the end of this work the surface roughness is also discussed.
