Enviromental education in the teaching of mathematic

This diploma work is focused on the introduction of environmental topics in teaching mathematics at the secondary schools including grammar schools. The thesis are a response to the lack of those topics in teaching at the secondary schools, which are not specified for physical sciences and timeliness of environmental problems in our community as a whole. The diploma work content are solved mathematical problems with methodological notes for math teachers. Logic interface of environmental problems with students knowledge of biology and geography for the relevant grade is the major effort of the thesis. Annexes contain worksheets for students. The aim of this diploma work is to inspire math teachers at the secondary schools to engage these problems or the environmental problems of their own in teaching.
Possibilities of Scrap Material Utilisation for Teaching Arts at Elementary Schools

The Thesis is focused on the interconnection of Arts and Environmental Education as a possible way for teaching elementary school children both the sensitive relation to nature and the conscious environmental behaviour. Junk-art, a phenomenon of environmental arts, is introduced in the theoretical part of the Thesis. In this part of the Thesis, there are also theoretical basis of Arts and Environmental Education, as they are embodied in the Framing Program of Education and the analysis of possible areas for utilisation of scrap materials within intermediate and experimental activities in Arts at elementary schools. In the conclusion of the theoretical part of the Thesis, there is a list of books available in the Czech market which deal with possibilities of waste media utilisation for the development of creative activities of pupils. In the practical part of the Thesis, there are some results and reflexions of the implementation of my own set of Arts lessons with utilisation of scrap materials which I gave in the third, fourth and fifth grades at a traditional rural school in Stará Říše.
Forest pedagogy

The aim of this degrese work is to support the importace of environmental education and forest pedagogy for the development of children´s perceptions. The theoretical part aim at processing information about the implementation of environmental education in kindergarten school educational curricula and at introducing the notion ?forest pedagogy? (in the Czech Republic and worldwide), its aim and purpose. Furthermore the findings of forest kindergartens both in the Czech Republic and abroad are treated. The practical activity itself contain the proposal of forest pedagogy conceived activities according to seasons for a kindergarten class and their realization. In the present work there is interpreted their contribution to the development of children´s perception
The Use of Urban Eco-Systems for Environmental Education in Kindergardens

The bachelor thesis deals with the education of children preschool age through the use of urban ecosystems with an outline of appropriate sites for environmental education in kindergarten in Ceske Budejovice. The theoretical part of work sponsored by literature in general characteristics of ecosystems, urban ecosystems and environmental education. It points to the implications of human impact on nature and the problems of ecological balance of the environment of our cities. The practical part consists of learning blocks to teach environmental education for children from nursery schools in areas relating to the Ceske Budejovice. Learning blocks include activities on offer, games and exploring nature in the field. This section also describes the reaction of active participants in the learning blocks, children from kindergarten and my own analysis through observation.
Sense perception development of preschool children within the environmental education

The thesis deals with processing of information about the development of sensory perception of pre-school children by means of environmental education. The theoretical part includes classification of environmental education in the curriculum and part about sense perception development. For each senses, there is a short description of its function, the most frequent disturbances and rehearsing for improves it. Some examples of activities for perceptions and environmental education, that are proper for creating programs in kindergarten, are suggested in the practical part. Two integrated programs are created and evaluated in the last part of thesis.
The possibility of the use of art education within environmental education

The main topics of my bachelor thesis are environmental education and art creativity. The theoretical part defines art creativity and describes its stages, marks and essence. Its principles and research are also outlined. In the thesis, art creativity is described in the context of art education. The attention here is paid to the principles in art education both from the didactic and pedagogical views. Other topics also include the applications and goals in art education or the dependence of art activities on the child's age. Owing to the practical part it was also necessary to describe the environment and functions of afters-school clubs and the relation between art education and primary school children. Another theoretical aspect is environmental education, mainly the questions of waste and its recycling. The analysed topics of art creativity, art education and environmental education are in a tight relation with the practical part of the thesis ? a project realized in Nové Hodějovice primary school after-school club. The practical rendition of the individual tasks created particularly for this bachelor thesis was to help the children realise the importance of waste recycling and, eventually, make them consider alternative use of waste in their leisure-time activities.
Forest animals as model taxon within ecological education in nursery school

ABSTRACT: Pokorná, L.: Environmental Education in Kindergarten Forest animals as model taxons in environmental education in kindergarten. The thesis was designed as educational offer for work with preschool children focusing on closer knowledge about the life of forest animals. This offer has been developed into twelve integrated blocks using the story "Kubik and friends of the forest". Six of these blocks have been tested and the results of these are being used as a preparation for the implementation of the remaining six. The worksheets and graphomotory worksheets for preschool children were designed to accompany the topics.
Environmental Education and Its Aplication in the Form of Eco-Educational Programs

The diploma thesis deals with the environmental education and focuses on the centers for ecological education. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical one. In the theoretical part there explained terms connected with environmental education. There is also explained the importance of the environmental education in nowadays society. Next there are mentioned specific trends and methods which are most used in the centers for ecological education, not only in eco-education a programs. The practical part presents eco-center "Šípek" in Český Krumlov, which practises environmental education and enlightenment mainly in the form of eco-education a programs for pre-school, elementary and secundary schools. In these programs the educators apply the methods of specific environmental education trends which are connected into the common goal.
Present Conception of School and Out-of-school Ecological Education in Czech republic

After definition of used terms I inform about aims, methods and ideological solutions. The principal part of thesis is reflection how to pedagogically influence in the sphere of environmental education and edification. At the close of the thesis there is signed that sustainable development and its correlation between ecological, social, economic and ethic aspect has future for environmental education and edification.

The work has two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part consists of two main themes: the relationship of man to nature, where we deal with the characteristics, development history and the influence of direct contact with nature in the development of individuals, and present selected aspects of the current state of the world, and values for sustainable development. The second part is devoted to environmental education, the basic starting points and objectives and identifies principles of effective environmental education. The practical part is a project of stay summer camp with ecoeducational content on the theme of "Disaster".
