The thesis deals with the moral thinking of youth in its adolescent age. The first part deals with the basic ethic terms and with historical development of ethic thinking. The thesis deals further with determinants, which influence the moral development of thinking of a man including primary and secondary socialisation and the influence of a state. The theoretical part ends with a chapter dealing with the psychological aspects of development of moral judgement, where are described the particular stages of moral development according to Lawrence Kohlberg. The practical part deals with the research in a given group according to Kohlberg. The research is made with regard to family background of an individual. Except for reactions to Heinz´s dilemma, there are researched the differences between moral attitudes of men and women and the differences between individuals coming from villages or cities. The aim of this thesis is to judge, if it is possible from the stage of a moral judgement of the researched adoloscents, judge a relation according to the context of their experience in the family. The research showed some influences to moral thinking of a man, but it is not possible to determine the convincing conclusions. Labor aspects from the perspective of ethics and Christianity, developing countries workers' protection projects
VLČKOVÁ, Jana
In this dissertation I am analysing certain aspects of labour, especially the ones that are of significant interest to moral philosophy within the church and its catholic doctrine. In the same time I identify the foundation for freedom and dignity of labouring human being that are being degraded especially in the present time economisation process. Further, I outline the issues associated with the changes within the division of labour from industrial revolution to present day and in the same time I present issues connected with labouring human being vs. human capital. Because freedom is the foundation of humanity I also describe issues connected with human rights in the context of universal and natural law. In this way I analyse Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its defence in an intercultural environment. Lastly, besides those theoretical concepts, I evaluate an Amnesty International CR project called "Business That is Worth It" which aims at supporting companies to a responsible management of employees rights protection especially in developing countries.
Sects and New Religious Movements, Jehovah's Witnesses
HOVJACKÁ, Veronika
Religious groups are societies, which aims to transcendental realities, but are realized among particular people and in particular time and society. It is interesting to study the relationship between society as a whole and these sub societies. One way of how the main society expresses its relationship towards religious groups, in a broader sense, is the registration of these groups as a state recognized religion. This status is desired and appreciated by the religious groups as it can change their position in public eyes. This thesis is a reflection about how difficult, and maybe even deceptive, is looking for criterions for registration or not registration. It is simply about describing borders between the terms ``sect{\crqq} and ``church{\crqq}. Intuitively, this border is something quite clear, but when we need to decide for or against registration, intuitive criterions by themselves are not enough.

Possibility of implementation Fromm´s freedom on Hayek´s liberal order
Soukup, Michal ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Toman, Prokop (referee)
This work is strictly theoretical reasoning and comparation of the two important trains of thought, humanistic socialism and liberal competition, which conflict with each other in everyday events of the present world. I am trying in this work to consider arguments, which F.A. Hayek is using to defend his idea about functioning of a liberal order which according to him absolutely spontaneusly creates the best possible environment for an assertion and development of a free individual and these arguments i am trying to follow subsequently with humanistic thinking of Erich Fromm placing the emphasis on his different conception of the individual but also spontaneus freedom and to analyse if it is possible for such individual who is humanly oriented to find full exercise of his inner needs and at the same time to remain useful member just of such society which Hayek submit us. Aim of this work is consideration of every discovered contrast of these two conceptions and thinking about humanistic ideas if they are for the liberal order only past drowned in selfish competitive acting or if they are still actual or if they even have opportunity to fully develop in such order. Benefit of this work I see first of all in the analysis of though not quite sought after but extremely actual problem if free individual is able to spontaneusly create such social order over the time in which his individuality may fully develop or if he dies out in unconconsciously created all embracing conformability.

Risk of power in helping professions.
BÁRTEK, Lukáš
This thesis addresses aspects of helping professions that could represent a certain ?risk? of using power; it especially focuses on a social work sphere. In the first part, the thesis deals with basic terms that are essential for this issue. It pays attention to power itself and its specifications and connections to the helping professions. Further, it focuses on characteristics of terms that apply to the helping professions and social work or on a formulation of aspects which represent a risk of an improper use of power. In addition, it deals with the topics of burnout, helper?s syndrome or supervision as spheres that are closely related to the topic. The second part of the thesis refers to the necessity of ethics application in social work and in the helping professions in general. It is based on values from which the helping professions arise and which are crucial to them. It focuses on the Code of Ethics of social workers as a tool to solve ethical problems and on its justification in social work. It attempts to introduce ethical theories which are crucial and relevant to this sphere, and further - on the basis of these theories - to outline the basic ethical principles which play an important role in the ethical justification of proper decisions and in the use of power in the context of helping professions. The aim of this thesis is to describe an ethical framework of helping professions themselves and subsequently to analyze the problem of power in helping professions. This will be used as a basis on which to formulate basic ethical starting points that should be taken into account during the execution of helping professions.
