Teaching of the Local Region at the Second Grade of Elementary School on the Example of Trhosvinensko Region

Submitted thesis titled "Teaching of the Local Region at the Second Grade of Elementary School on the Example of Trhosvinensko Region" is composed of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is interested in the characteristic of the local region and its position in educational areas. The practical part summarizes the findings gained on the basis of empirical research of ways of teaching at elementary schools and at the lower grades of grammar schools. In accordance with the research I try to suggest my own conception of teaching Trhosvinensko region (the methods of teaching, the excursion, the educational project and workbooks) that is based on the Framework Education Programme for Basic Education.

Submitted thesis titled "Teaching of the Local Region at the Second Grade of Elementary School on the Example of Prachaticko Region" deals with the issue of teaching local region at the second grade of elementary school. It is divided into two parts ? theoretical and didactical. The theoretical part deals with the characteristic of the local region and its position in educational areas with the emphasis on fulfilling key competences. The didactical part summarizes the findings which are based on a questionnaire survey made at the elementary schools and at the grammar schools. The practical part also includes my own conception of teaching(methods of teaching, the excursion, workbooks and didactical games) that is based on the Framework Education Programme for Basic Education.
Telč region - Local region in teaching at the Second Grade of Primary School

The thesis focuses on teaching about Telč region theme in basic schools. The thesis is composed from theoretical and practical parts. The purpose of the theoretical part of this work is to characterize Telč region and define its place in educational curriculum with emphasis on the key competences. The practical part based on empirical research summarizes findings of students´ knowledge about the region. The questionnaire examines different types of educational ways of teachers. According to this research I suggest my own conception (teaching methods, excursions, projects and workbooks) proceeding from The Czech Educational Curriculum for basic schools.
Application of the geographical and historical curiosities of Příbram region on the 1st grade of the primary school

The contain of the thesis named Application of the geographical and historical curiosities on the 1st grade of the primary school is split into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis is dealing with homeland related characteristics of the relevant region, namely geographical and socioeconomic characteristics, history and other homeland related curiosities including presentation of important local personalities. The practical part of the thesis is consequently following the theoretical part in application of the above mentioned characteristics into educational praxis by two multimedia programs for the inter-active class board. Both programs are Both programs are intended to be used for teaching the students of the 4th class of the primary school and are in compliance with the general educational framework for the primary schools (in Czech: ?rámcový vzdělávací program?). In addition, both programs are based on the educational topic ?Man and its world? and its sections ?Place where we live? and ?People and the time?. There is a manual for both multimedia programs attached to the practical part of the thesis containing advices, tips and ideas on working with the programs. The thesis is furthermore devided into following chapters: introduction, analysis of the relevant literature, methodology, summary, list of relevant literature and annexes. ?

My thesis is named Teaching the Local Region the Second Grade of Primary School in Heřmanův Městec and Třemošnice and is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is focused on position of this topic in educational sphere. Emphasis is put on the performance of key competences and some parts of my thesis are joined with sectional topics. The practical part summarizes actual findings about teaching methods at local primary schools, based on empirical investigation. The practical part includes my own proposal of curricullum conception. My thesis is intended for teachers at primary schools and in lower stages of grammar schools.

This thesis examines The use of natural and historical attractions of Cesky Krumlov and its surroundings in teaching at primary school. It is based on the Framework Education Programme for Basic Education - Humans and Their World - The Place Where We Live and People and Time. Theoretical part surveys the Cesky Krumlov area ? location, characterization, economic and social system, historical development and landscape singularity. The first half of the practical part takes advantage from the previous chapters and it summarises general information which had been readjusted for use in the classes. The other half forms the certain projects for lessons. The important part of this thesis is survey, which was done at several primary schools in Cesky Krumlov area, and the analysis of the didactical conceptions.

The thesis Multimedia educational program for teaching about local region on 1st grade of the primary school (Sedlčany area) is divided into two parts. The theoretical part of the thesis is complete home study characteristics of the researched area. It contains definition and location of the researched place, its physical {--} geographic and social {--} geographic characteristics, historical developement and home study curiosities. The practical part concurs on the acquired information and findings. It is composed by multimedia projects, aimed for 4th grade of the primary schools, applied on interactive boards. A part of the thesis is the methodical guide, containing themes and ideas suggesting how to work with the projects. The Metodology of Teaching General Science and Homeland study of the Region on the Example of the Znojmo region

The thesis called The Metodology of Teaching General Science and Homeland study of the Region on the Example of the Znojmo region. The Thesis sloves the problems of teaching General Science and Homeland study at primary school. It consists of two parts: the first {--} theoretical {--} which deals with the characterisation of the region {--} the physical geography and socioeconomic aspects. The other {--} didactic {--} is the main part of the thesis. It is based on the expert part and is made into a textbook for pupils in the 4th and 5th years of the primary school as well as a methodological manual for teachers. This part is attached with worksheets related to the Znojmo region and a number of games and creative ideas which serve the purpose of practising the subject aimed at the Znojmo region.
Methodology of regional homeland study education: a case study Český Krumlov and its surroundings

This thesis deals with methodological problems of education of regional homeland study on a case study on municipality and the surroundings of Český Krumlov. In the first part of the thesis is detailed description of the studied area (the area of the municipality of Český Krumlov) {--} delimitation and location of the area, its physical and social geographical features, historical development and places of interest in Český Krumlov and in its surroundings. The other part of the thesis issues from the special information introduced in its first part and presents adaptation of the topic for children that attends primary school (from the first to the fifth class). This adaptation respects The Framework Education Programme for Basic Education, its thematic area The Place Where We Live from the educational area Humans and Their World. Educational texts (for third, fourth and fifth class) and worksheets completes the notes for teachers. This thesis includes common chapters such as the introduction, the analysis of used literature, and the methodology of this thesis, conclusion and list of used literature.

The theoretic part of the thesis is concerned with delimitation and location of the area, its physical and social geographical features, historical developement and places of interest in local region Mariánskolázeňsko. The practical part of the thesis issues from the special informationes in its theoretic part and presents adaptation of the topic for children that attends 4th year of the primary school, which respects The Framework Education Programme for Basic Education. Electronic educational text, worksheets with notes for teachers and suggestion of group works. This thesis includes also a list of questions and its analysis, which was the base for the practical part of the thesis, especially for the group work. This thesis includes common chapters such as the introduction, the analysis of used literuature and the methodology of this thesis, conclusion and list of used literature.
