This diploma thesis will examine the hypothesis of endogeneity of the European monetary integration for eurozone countries that use the euro currency at least 10 years outside the country of Luxembourg. This work will be about testing the hypothesis if it is reflected the endogenous character of OCA criteria in a relatively short period of 10 years, so if the fulfillment of those criteria is in time ex post - in the period after the adoption of the euro. Testing of hypotheses is through the calculating OCA index and other selected indicators representing the OCA criteria.

This bachelor thesis analyzes the current debt crisis in countries called PIIGS (Por-tugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece, Spain) and suggests possible solutions. The first part describes the development of the previous crisis and debt crisis as well. The sec-ond part focuses on PIIGS countries, analysis is made by case studies and graphs. The discussion is devoted to the recommendation of appropriate solutions for each country.

This thesis examines the nature of money in the monetary union and the small open economy. The first part describes the different theories that deal nature of money in economy. Thoroughly discussed here post-Keynesian approach from which is the assumption of endogeneity of money primary based. The empirical part of the thesis is based on the individual theoretical approaches, where are defined the default causal relationship between selected variables. These relationships are tested on real quarterly data in Euro area in the period 1998-2013 and in the Czech Republic in the period 2002-2013. Analysis of collected data was performed by using vector autoregression models, namely Granger Causality. Causal relationships are detected between loans, GDP, money supply and monetary base. From obtained results were made recommendations for monetary policy makers in the Czech Republic and Euro area.
The impact of the debt crisis on monetary integration in Europe

The bureaucratic structures of European Union, Eurozone etc.; deal with the issue of monetary integration these days. This point was achieved, because of the beginning of debt crisis, which has erupted in 2009. In this thesis is a clear explanation of monetary integration in general, hers costs and benefits and also historical development within the framework of monetary union in Europe. The emphasis is placed on creation reasons of debt crisis, with detailed description and interpretation of the global imbalances principle, applied on Eurozone members. In the part discussing global imbalances are stated PIIGS states and their main task within the framework of debt crisis. The most important part is the part, noticing the concrete steps in European integration deepening such as formation of stability mechanisms -- EFSM, EFSF, ESM; continues to preparation of formation named as bank union; introduction of financial transaction tax etc. The might and theoretical solutions, like Eurobonds or disintegration of Eurozone, are also included. The last paragraph sums up impact of debt crisis on integration processes.
Mechanisms of Crisis Transmission and Spillovers in the Conditions of the European Union

The last global financial crisis spread from the United States of America to the rest oof the world is a result of interacting factors. On the real estate market there emerged a bubble which after boosting caused an economic decrease in most of the world economies. Global imbalances also contributed to different reactions of the single states on the coming crisis. Due to the membership in the European Union the impacts were transmitted tto the surrrounding state of the Union. The negative impacts were sufficiently and fast suppressed, in other countries, like in Greece or Ireland the impact was worsening of the already bad economy condition. The thesis analyses the spillover and transfer of the crises to the EU through the trade channel and it's further spread among the EU. The goal of the thesis is to discover the main causes of the different immpact on the single economies in the EU and to analyse the mutual affecting considering sharing one currency.There is an outline for a possible measure for future cases of occurrence of similar crises considering especially the membership in the European Monetary Union.

Bachelor thesis "The evolution of europan unification in coherence and context of the financial crisis" is aimed at research of uncommon aspects in area of market bubble bursts. From the base of disregarded history facts, thesis aspires to reveal errors caused in the past and whether there is a possiblity to identfy its' momental consequence in Europan integration process. Whole thesis is diveded into three chapters, wheras every chapter contains theoretical and practical look. Theoretical principle explains the development of money systems, terms associated to crisis and describes the evolvement of integration process. Practical part is devoted to commentary of causes and effects in relation to ancient crisis, while it equates findings for comparation to the actual one. Discovery beneath forming the Europan Union are also survey.
