The influence of alcaline accumulators loading on their parameters
Čech, Ondřej ; Vrbický, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with alkaline battery characteristics and it has special consideration of nickel-cadmium cells. There are three main experimental parts in this paper. First one is concerned with positive electrode materials properties and is aimed to investigate impact of magnesium ions formed into nickel hydroxide electrode structure. Second part deals with battery charging/discharging and response measurement tool design. National Instruments hardware PXI modules for data acquisition was used and program in LabView environment was made. Last one is concerned with nickel-cadmium cell properties changes during increased temperature stressing. Investigation of cell self-charge changes during lithium hydroxide addition into electrolyte was made.
Meassurement PC rad based on I51 microcontroller
Klezla, Petr ; Kaňa, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The main topic of the thesis is to suggest and realize the measuring card with analog inputs and outputs. In the first part of this thesis we are concerned with key-elements of measuring cards, respectively ADC and DAC, and here are explained all their activities. Then we attend of choosing parts for suggested measuring card as is voltage reference, power supply and operational amplifier. Among others we are concerned with a question of protecting inputs against overvoltage and reversing of polarity and beside against disturbance. Then follows analysis of used microcontroller ADUC831 with description of its used outskirts. Here is described the stored for measured samples of MMC memory, how to work with it and the programme service. The last chapter describes suggested firmware and servicing programme for PC. In fine we value the quality of measuring card and its mistakes.
Active electrical filters based on switched-capacitor circuits
Třeček, Stanislav ; Dostál, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This thesis deals with concept of universal frequency filter by application of a switched-capacitor functional block. The concept is based on the theory of switched-capacitor circuits and the theory of a design of classical frequency filters. The printed circuit board was designed based on the filter connection developed by using a software Eagle. The filter was implemented as a laboratory product. This product has been revitalized and the frequency response of all types of filters has been measured. The measured parameters were compared with the parameters set out in the technical documentation of functional block.
Measurement of the blood pressure using LabView
Slezák, Pavel ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of system for blood pressure measurement. The system consists of microphone, amplifier and real time acquisition program using LabView. For determining systolic and diastolic blood pressure origin and ending of Korotkov's sounds is used. The algorithm for this detection is based on bandpass filtering and thresholding also implemented in LabView. As a result of this work, the measured sounds are presented and whole system is described in detail. In conclusion advantages and disadvantages of method are resumed.
Aperture Corrector for Video Signals
Klozar, Lukáš ; Slanina, Martin (referee) ; Říčný, Václav (advisor)
Aim of this bachelor thesis is detail description and design aperture correction of video signals. Following theory of possibilities of aperture correction, realize corrector and verify it‘s function. Input signal of aperture corrector is luminance signal of video signal. It’s function is to reduce duration of signal edges. Attention si mainly give to derivative way of correction. Text describes theory of apperture correctnion of video signals and way of corrections. Derivative aperture corrector is detaily described, designed and simulated on PC, including constructional features. The last part is aimed at construction and comparing of measured and simulated processes .
Design of the low offset rail to rail operational amplifier in CMOS technology
Vrba, Adam ; Khateb, Fabian (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with design rail-to-rail operational amplifier in technology CMOS07 using Cadence design environment. Head design goal is small value of random and systematical input offset. Work too contain various technique compensation doth of this offsets. Second goal is head a rail-to-rail input common mode range with use both types of differential pair.
Solution proposal and analysis of properties of current operational amplifier in bipolar and unipolar technologies
Pawlas, Radovan ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Vrba, Kamil (advisor)
This master thesis is about current operational amplifiers and mainly about their internal structures and possible modifications of these structures. The Current operational amplifier consists of several elementary blocks and these blocks are shortly described and used in internal structures of proposed operational amplifiers. Basic elementary blocks of the current operational amplifier are current mirror, diferentional amplifier, current source, transimpedation amplifier and additional elements of a circuit. In this thesis, several elementary structures of the operational amplifiers are introduced. Each amplifier passed through the analysis of the circuit in software MicroCap 9.0. In this software is done the simple DC analysis of the internal structure of the current operational amplifier in connection with a feedback. The solution was focused on bipolar and unipolar technology for each connection. I deal with a method of feedback connection to the operational amplifier and explore real characteristic of the appropriate amplifier in the designed feedback. In principle this design has important influence to the resulting properties of the circuit. Within the analysis of the circuits have been found, how each current operational amplifier works in a defined current range. Every type of surveyed amplifier is closely described, the internal structure is depicted and graph of current transmission of amplifier is shown. At the end of this thesis the amplifiers are compared and there are introduced their advantages and disadvantages.
Description Methods for Electrical Systems and Their Solving
Křižka, Jakub ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šeda, Miloš (advisor)
The objective of bachelor thesis is a searching description of methods, which are usually used for calculation of circuit variable values in electric circuits. At the beginning is thesis concerning with description of individual components (power supplies, electronic components) used in electric circuits, then also with analysis of rules, which are the fundamental for a calculation of values in electronic circuit – Ohm’s rule and Kirchhoff’s rules. Indivisible part of thesis is also summary of special methods, such as method of loop currents (mesh analysis), method of nodal voltage (nodal analysis) etc. and their demonstration on examples of electric circuits. The structure of thesis is coursebook and gives successive summary of information in area calculations of electric circuits.
Analog spectrum analyzer
BUŠEK, Pavel
The task of this bachelor thesis was to build and measure a simple spectrum analog analyzer. Analyzer works with active frequency filters. The first part of the thesis introduces principles of the theory of frequency filters. The second part deals with development of eight-pass frequency analyzer and measurement of its parameters.
