Technology Design Components Bearing Cover

This bachelor thesis deals with the design technology for product components "bearing cover“ in two variants. The first of them is designed for the production of one-piece components in company conditons. The second is concerned with the design technology for serial production of the same components using machines and tools from current production. The thesis contains designs for semi-finished components, the selection of machines from the company fleet, the design of suitable tools and cutting conditions. An economic evaluation deals with the determination of machining times for both variants of production. The proposed technology will be used for the real production of components.

Design of follow cutting tool

Presented bachelor’s thesis initially focuses on introduction to the cutting area, as one of the forming technologies. Further this thesis deals with basic methods of cutting metals. As the last and crucial point is a description of construction of follow cutting tool produced by company Brano in high-volume molding production. The molding is a part for storing clutch pedal which is designed for automotive industry.

Solution technology multiple groove guide pulley.

This essay discusses the production technology of multiple-grooved pulley and evaluates the technology of construction, the choice of the semi-product and their possible variations for production. The next aim is to describe the choice of production technologies, the selection of tools, the composition of technological process and the composition of different ways of chip removal during production. The essay also presents an economic of batch-production and it defines the optimal ways of production with regards to production costs.

Drilling technology

The first part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the problems of drilling, roughing out, reaming and recessing including the used tools. The second part is focused on the presentation of the range of goods of the selected tool companies. The third part deals with the problems of the CNC machines and especially with their programming. In the end of this part there is a demonstration of a NC program which was created for the chosen product.
