Landscape Management of Catchment Dam Dalešice
Kunčíková, Aneta ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Duchek, Stanislav (referee)
This thesis deals with land management in the catchment area of the dam Dalešice. Water work Dalešice lies on the Jihlava river, which is contaminated water by phosphorus, nitrogen and organic matters. Jihlava river is the main source of process water for cooling nuclear power plant requiring a certain quality that can be used for cooling of nuclear reactors. The primary aim is to assess the condition of the landscape model in Střížovský creek, which is one of the many tributaries of the Jihlava river above water works Dalešice. Based on the utilization coefficient of ecological stability, evaluation of the territorial system of ecological stability, quality watercourse mapping of the occurrence of significant landscape elements, landscape were outlined measures which will help improve the state of the landscape in the area of catchment, stabilize runoff (quality, quantity) and increase the resilience of the landscape in relation to ongoing climate change.
Analysis of landscape changes during the complex landscape management
HEJMAN, Martin
This diploma thesis was written to analyze and evaluate the changes of the landscape in selected cadastral communities with a finished complex landscape management. The analysis was completed in four time periods. It included a historical time period in 1952, a period before the landscape management, a period during the designing of landscape management and the present condition of the landscape. Changes that appeared in the landscape were evaluated for land use, the permanent landscape structure, the density of the road network and ecotones. According to the results of the diploma thesis it is possible to find out how the complex landscape management project for individual studied areas contributed on the progress of the changes of the landscape.
Attitudes of Agricultural Entrepreneurs to Comprehensive Land Adjustments
Petroušková, Barbora ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Květoň, Pavel (referee)
Aim of bachelor thesis is to design the landscape measures that are consistent with sustainable development, on selected cadastral territories in the catchment area of Trnava. In addition, will be also found attitudes of the agricultural organizations to proposed amendments to the land that they own or lease. The proposed landscape measures will seek to restore the fundamental ecological functions of the landscape, especially the stabilization of the water regime, restore biodiversity and lay the foundations for a high quality of life in the landscape. In the theoretical part defines the terms landscape, landscape character, elements of the landscape, ecological stability, land management, agricultural, its development and impact on the landscape, landscape adjustment, land adjustment and territorial system of ecological stability. The practical part describes the selected area - Cadastral territories Hořepník and Košetice, also presented farms - Agrodam Hořepník Ltd. and Agropodnik Košetice, Plc. Proposals landscape measures are designed with an emphasis on stabilization and drainage conditions and improve biodiversity of the landscape. With using Quantum GIS are measures drawn into the map. In an interview with agricultural entrepreneurs will be questions aimed at comprehensive land adjustment in general, on the proposed land adjustment and their willingness to embrace change. Of obtained responses by the interviewed subjects, we can state that depends only and only on the interests of farmers and sophistication of man, what is the view of the problems of land adjustment. Unfortunately, it is well known that the farmers of these arrangements often look very negatively. Comprehensive land adjustments complicate their work, but they are necessary; therefore, to look for tools those farmers attitudes have changed. These tools include a change of subsidy policy, attitudes of insurance, the influence of the local community, education and enlightenment of the company. On the basis of findings can be said that as land adjustment, which are currently implemented, are adapt rather to the needs of farms. In my view, however comprehensive land adjustments be in the public interest to implement consistently. In order to reach the target condition, it is necessary to create tools to accelerate progress.
Comprehensive Landscaping in Landscape Management
Humešová, Tereza ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Květoň, Pavel (referee)
The aim of this work is to create cadastral municipality Lukavec proposals for measures to be focused on stabilizing the drainage conditions in this area. The means for implementation of the proposed measures are landscaping to help develop natural and cultural values of rural, environmental health, and environmental management. The theoretical part deals with the importance of drainage conditions in the country and summarizes the major and most severe impacts that disrupt water regime. The practical part is thoroughly analyzed the selected area and proposed several solutions for improving the basic functions of the landscape. These suggestions may serve as a basis for the development of comprehensive land to land the municipality. Furthermore, the detected status of the implementation plans of common facilities in the village, which has completed a comprehensive landscaping. The aim is also to find out what are the biggest obstacles in the implementation of comprehensive land. The work suggests that the importance of land consolidation as a tool to improve the environment, realizes the little people and the state is only marginal. Inadequate funding source makes the whole process of editing complex is very slow and basically lose the effect, which should yield especially in terms of landscape management. The lack of tools that would make the village-designed common facilities realize is fundamentally wrong. A major problem is too complex and confusing bureaucracy that overly complicates everything, the failure to state a limited local government. Another obstacle is ignorance, indifference and unwillingness of people to undergo this process. It is very important therefore awareness and informing people.

The goat breeding on the organic farm
JIRMANNOVÁ, Kristýna
The management of goat breeding, animal welfare and the influence of goat breeding on landscape are the main aims of my bachelor thesis. The other aims are as follows: basic information about parameters of goat production, processing and market of bio-products, economy of goat breeding and subsidies in goat breeding. The goat breeding was monitoring at the Slunečná organic farm in the Šumava Mountains. The results were interpreted on the basis of the study of special literature and legislation about organic farming and ethology of goats. The data set of goat herd daily regime on farm was created. Winter daily regime and summer daily regime were compared. The conditions of goat breeding were then compared with requirements of legal rules in the Czech Republic and in the EU. The physiological and ethological needs of animals are satisfactory. It is due to modern technologies for stabling, milking, slaughtering and another handling with animals. Goats have the possibility to graze freely on pastures and they effect positively on the landscape management. They keep grasslands without woody plants and weeds.
THE EFFECT OF TOURISM AND MANAGEMENT OF LANDSCAPE IN ŠUMAVA NATIONAL PARK AND LANDSCAPE PROTECTED AREA ON COMMUNITIES OF EPIGEIC BEETLES
ŠŤASTNÝ, Jakub
The effect of tourism and different landscape management on beetle communities using pitfall trapping in the Šumava mountain area (National Park and Protected Landscape Area) was studied. The pitfall traps were arranged on left side plots of the Lipno dam with a different man-made pressure. The beetle communities of parking lots, dam shores and bushes were studied. The lowest number of species discovered by pitfall trapping was on plots strongly affected by man (parking lot). The highest number of species was found on plots of dam shores in consequence of ecoton effect. The community structure of the parking lots and dam shores was formed in 60 per cent by eurytopic species. Stenotopic species were dominant only on habitat of bushes. A regular and intensive management in the dam shores and the parking lots (mowing, herbicide application, fragmentation ) was the main factor affecting the epigeic beetle communities.
Management of Agricultural Landscape and its Importance to the Biodiversity Protection - Consequences Fair Game
VINCIKOVÁ, Hana
The evaluation of prefered kinds of fair game - Wild pig (Sus scrofa), Roe deer (Capreolus capreolus), Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) and Brown hare (Lepus europaeus) was studied in model game areas - Lhenice and in Žabovřesky in South Bohemia. The landscape of both studied areas differs by the land cover and intensity of agriculture. Te main data about game species were: number of shooting game, number of dieing game and spring population density in the last ten years. The second part of our study was directed on landscape evaluation. The ortophoto maps of studied areas were analysed ArgGis software. Data about game and landscape character were compared including the climate condition of both areas. The results of our studies verified the hypoothesis that the landscape with more diverse land cover is more perspective for populations of game species. It was found that besides of man factors play the important role the natural conditions of game areas. These condition are independent on the man activities and can be affected by the care about the landscape.
