Sanatorium with Speleotherapy Ostrov u Macochy

The diploma project proposes The Children´s Sanatorium with Speleotherapy Ostrov u Macochy which is to take place in the Císařská Cave. Site is located close to the mentioned cave in an exposed natural environment adjacent by urban housing which is represented by dispersed detached houses. An ambition of project is connecting an existing down-entrance to Císařská Cave with design new up-entrance, building of speleotherapy and existing development. There is created a new interconnection which respects and supports a local morphology. The building is situated on the end of connector in direct continuity with existing roads and development which suitably complements because of architecture form based on an archetyp of traditional cottage. The complex offers services for rehabilitation, sanatorium, accommodation and sports for childrens clients and general public too. A project intention was an effort to maximize incorporation the volume to feature of town, townscape with gabled roofs and natural surroundings with preservation high users comfort.

Studium flóry a vegetace mokřadu u Císařské jeskyně v Moravském krasu

This thesis focuses on flora and vegetation of the wetland near Císařská Jeskyně in Ostrov u Macochy. Three shallow pools were done during revitalization project in 2012. After that, I have carried out floristic and phytosocioological research with a goal to map and evaluate the current state of flora and vegetation. Field research was realized in years 2013-2014. The characteristic of the study area and state of the vegetation before the revitalization is posed in few first chapters. In following chapters are described met-hods, procedure and results of the research in detail. The thesis evaluates the effective-ness of the revitalization intervention during the first two years and will serve as back-ground material for continuing long-term research on permanent plots in pools.

The thematical map in the Moravian Karst

The geodetic survey and creation of the thematic map of the locations in the Ostrov u Macochy and Vilémovice in the Moravian karts with demarcation on working entrances to caves and rocks formations in lacation these entrances. The geodetic survey has been done by Czech national standards and guidelines ČÚGK deals with the creation thematic maps.

Návrh naučné stezky v území obce Ostrov u Macochy

This diploma thesis addresses recreation, relaxation and spending of free time in CHKO Moravsky kras, particularly in the Ostrov u Macochy community. In the area of the community there are many natural attractions, significant architectural objects and interesting tourist attractions. On the basis of field surveys of the territory and sociological surveys a 8,3 km long nature trail was designed on which 11 information boards are situated. The method of marking the trail, layout of the individual information panels, supporting infrastructure and possible sources of funding is addressed in the thesis. The nature trail was designed in compliance with the interest of the community, nature conservation bodies but also the users. All the materials and proposals can be used as the basis for implementation of the nature trail or structure serving for recreation in the community.
