The influence of ionic liquids on functional elements in lithium-ion batteries
Meščánková, Veronika ; Sedlaříková, Marie (referee) ; Máca, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with ionic liquids, their conductivity and the action of the electrode materials, separators and current collectors. The theoretical part is focused on the properties of ionic liquids, Li-ion batteries, corrosion, conductivity and analysis elements. The practical part is focused on the production of graphite electrodes, measuring the conductivity of ionic liquids with different parts of lithium – ion battery and measuring the potential window. Also, there is the effect of ionic liquids described in these parts.
Deposition of Cobalt nanodots using EBID and optimalization of their chemical composition and morphology
Vyroubal, Ondřej ; Průša, Stanislav (referee) ; Kolíbal, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with deposition of metal nanostructures by EBID. Several deposition parameters are described and it is shown how they infuence the process of deposition. The atomic composition of cobalt structures was veried by EDX. Additionally, the optimized geometries of nanostructures for future practical applications are shown as well.
SMV-2014-03: Analysis of the microstructure of synthetic diamond powders
Mika, Filip
Developed a method of preparation and display of powders in HR SEM without coating (ie. Without loss of information about landforms and their actual size), and a methodology for chemical analysis of individual grains of powder wide fields of view up to several centimeters.
SMV-2014-18: Analysis of the microstructure and chemical composition in a transmission mode
Mika, Filip
It was developed and tested methodology imaging of organic and inorganic nanoparticles used in pharmaceutical industry by STEM with very high resolution below 1 nm at low energies of impacted electrons. Was elaborated methodology of EDX analysis of nanoparticles placed at TEM strainers.
SMV-2013-06: Analysis of the microstructure and composition of inorganic nanoparticles
Mika, Filip ; Paták, Aleš
It was developed and tested a methodology for imaging of organic and inorganic nanoparticles for pharmaceutical industry in STEM mode with very high resolution below 1 nm at low energies of incident electrons. A methodology EDX analysis of the nanoparticles on the TEM grids was worked out.
Z-phase in Cr-Nb-N system studied by analytical electron microscopy
Buršík, Jiří ; Kroupa, Aleš
In this work we study the Z-phase in model Cr-Nb-N alloys by means of analytical electron microscopy (SEM and TEM).
Mechanical alloying of Fe-X (X=Al, Mo, Ni) powders studied by analytical electron microscopy
Buršík, Jiří ; Jirásková, Yvonna
Mechanical alloying via ball milling represents a relatively simple way of preparing materials with a micro-to nanograin crystalline and/or amorphous metastable structure.
The Laboratories for Electron Microscopy and Image Analysis presentation
Hanzlíková, Renáta ; Mika, Filip ; Matějková, Jiřina
Laboratories for Electron Microscopy (LEM) are equipped with scanning electron microscopes (SEM) that provide imaging conductive and non-conductive specimens. Further LEM offer energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis (EDX) for determination of composition.
