Dance as a part of a ritual language
Stavělová, Daniela
The term ritual language is used in relation to the meaning of the dance in a carnival event, where it has a certain potential and power, and is a coherent and dynamic factor of the event. The focus of the study is to stress that the dance text is not only a choreographic structure, but a total function which links social interactions with structures of dance according to the type of communication used.
