In a CVVM survey in February respondents were asked whether the so-called Benes decrees ought to continue to apply and how they influence the relations of the Czech Republic with neighbouring countries. The research included surveying opinions on the post-war transfer of Sudeten Germans.

As part of a January survey by CVVM, respondents were asked whether they did or did not have confidence in selected top Czech politicans. The list of political figures they were questioned on included members of the Government, the President of the Czech republic, the ombudsman,the chair of the Senate, the chair of the Chamber of Deputies, the chairs of the parliamentary parties and the higt commissioner Špidla.
