Česák, Radim ; Skácel, Josef (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
Goal of this term paper based od informaion gained from the internet was to design construction and then make drone with help of -3D printer, which will be used in sensor technology. In the first part term paper deals with familiarizing with problems that come with choosing parts and creating the frame in free 3-D modeling program. Second part of this work deals with practical construction of the drone, programming of its flight controller, which is ESP32 DevKit v1 and its testing.
Automated measuring system for irrigating plants with IoT connectivity
Lahoda, Vladimír ; Polák, Ladislav (referee) ; Kufa, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with IoT networks and considers their use as part of embedded devices. The purpose of this device is to control the flower bed or garden based by data from sensors monitoring the environment. The device not only controls the irrigation operation itself, but also sends all traffic data over the IoT LoRa network. Thus, the device also functions as a weather station, as all data are sent to a second device that acts as a receiver. This receiver displays the data and also sends them to the Internet, where the data are publicly available. The module for sending and measuring data is mounted on its own PCB and is covered in a waterproof cover, so they can be operated outdoors. There is an integrated battery, which is a backup of savings in case of power failure. The battery is designed to back up power for 25 days.

Weather station with air quality measurement
Lacina, Jaroslav ; Hájek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of the wireless weather station with air quality measurement. At the beginning of the theoretical part, meteorology will be analysed. Afterwards, this work describes physical principles and the method of measurement of physical quantities that are measured by the meteostation. Next is the folloving technology described - Internet of things. The weather station is powered by a single battery and operates autonomously without any user intervention. It measures temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, CO2 and tVOC. Measured data are saved in to the cloud service ThingSpeak using a GSM signal. Further the work focuses on creation of web applications. The well organized graphs are created from the measured values.
Collection of meteorological data using the MQTT protocol
Filippov, Andrii ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
Power Efficient Smart Home IoT Network and Sensors
Chmelařová, Gabriela ; Letavay, Viliam (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with finding a suitable solution for the construction of energy saving IoT sensors for home network. The solution deals with design and construction of devices operated on batteries in order to ensure their long-term service. The text includes  an overview of technologies enabling implementation of power efficient sensors. Furthermore, the thesis describes the design and construction of energy-saving devices and topologies. The last part deals with sensor optimization for energy saving, overview of measured values and comparison of achieved results.
CNC milling machine control
Hanulík, René ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis clarifies the issue of creating inscriptions on stone slabs. It describes some types of sensors, actuators, their physical principles and possibilities of their use. The work mentions the limitations and specifics of sandblasting, design solutions and implementation of equipment for patternless sandblasting. The functionality of the device is demonstrated and verified on illustrative examples.
Device for automatic measurement of volt-ampere characteristics
Ondráček, Petr ; Vrba, Kamil (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
The Master's thesis discusses the design and realization of electronic meter of volt-ampere characteristics using Wifi module ESP32. The device is designed to be able to measure the characteristic in the voltage range of +/- 20 V and current range of +/- 200 mA. The device is controlled by web interface. The user is able to connect to it with for example his or her smartphone. This interface enables the user to configure various parameters, including the range of measurement and the power restriction. Furthermore, it is possible to graphically display the measured characteristic and export the data. To be independent on the outer network, the ESP32 is operated as an access point, which is creating a new simple network without the internet connection. In the Master's thesis, the principle of voltage and current measurement is explained theoretically, the circuit connection of device and the printed circuit board are designed and the cover of the device is modeled. Also the process of creating the device according to the design is described and the cover of the device is printed on 3D printer. After that, the control program is designed, described and uploaded into the resulting device. Finally, the functionality of the device is tested by measuring the volt-ampere characteristics of a few components.
Monitoring of production facilities
Borsuk, Adam ; Kiac, Martin (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to study the possibilities of creating a monitoring system for older production facilities already in operation. Select the necessary components for the nature of the equipment to create a system that is able to capture and provide information about activities on the equipment. The second goal is to design a suitable communication model for clear information about the operation, sending and storing data. The third goal is to analyze the dual-core ESP32 microprocessor against its predecessors in the role of system control unit.
Intelligent electricity meter
Haman, Martin ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
The diploma thesis describe design and realization of smart energy meter. The smart energy meter allows remote reading of the measured values and with connected externals modules also switching of connected load. The theoretical part covered measured values definition, required function analysis, components selection and design of smart energy meter.
