The thesis also contains a description of laboratory tests, which are important for evaluating the properties of mixtures with recycled asphalt. The practical part verifies the suitability of the mixture of recycled asphalt and aggregate for the road surface by testing the transverse tensile strength, compressive strength and frost and water resistance. The mixtures used are found to be suitable for pavement base course.
The utilization of the asphalt and concrete recycled materials to roads
Žďára, Zbyněk ; Šperka, Pavel (referee) ; Stehlík, Dušan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The is a review om the topic of recycled asphalt pavement and recycled concrete and their possible use in road construction in the theoretical part. The individual chapters deal with describing these materials, their production, and their use in construction layers of pavements. In the next chapters the attention is also paid to their problematic features and foreign experience using these materials in pavements. In the practical part, laboratory samples of recycled asphalt pavement and recycled concrete and their mixtures with cement are tested. The main purpose is to verify the applications of these mixtures of recycled asphalt pavement and recycled concrete in the bonded base layers of the pavement. Another purpose is to compare how these mixtures individual properties with different proportions of both components and different amounts of cement will be different. In the end, the two mixtures with the best properties was selected and the modulus of elasticity was experimentally determined for the possibility of replacing the currently used base layers and the economic evaluation of this design was made.
Waste horizon
Ochotná, Barbora ; Rypl Žabčíková, Ada (referee) ; Kristek, Jan (advisor)
The city is a place of accumulation, production and reproduction of production resources and consumption of goods, but waste typically accumulates outside it. It falls out of our horizon physically and mentally. The waste we produce changes the landscape and transforms the processes on earth without most of us visiting the "places of transformation". The project works with the idea of redirecting the final phase of the production chain back to the place of consumption by producing elements of public space from municipal waste. The presentation of waste leads to an awareness of its amount and degree of consumption. At the same time, waste becomes something much more ambivalent, possibly useful or even beautiful.

Influence Of Ambient Atmosphere To Active Material Of Disassembled Li-Ion Accumulator
Karmazinova, Katerina
At the present time the worldwide hot topic is recycling. How to deal with the product at the end of its life cycle? This paper is focused on recycling of active cathode material of lithiumion accumulators. The research considers the influence of ambient atmosphere on different types of lithium-ion accumulators within a time period. As the recycling method was chosen the solvent extraction. The results show a comparison of two the most common used cathode materials for lithium-ion accumulators – LiCoO2 and LiMn1/3Ni1/3Co1/3O2. At the forefront is the time period from disassembly the lithium-ion accumulator to extract cathode active material without structure changes due to the effect of the air atmosphere.

Recycling of clay bricks dust as granulate
Prokopová, Zdeňka ; Pavelka, Oldřich (referee) ; Sokolář, Radomír (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on recycling of brick sanding dust in the form of granulate produced on a pelletizing plate. The theoretical part describes the grog used in brick technology and possible methods of testing them. There are also examples of published experiments of how to produce or use artificial grog in the brick technology. There are also several examples of artificial grog that is currently available on the market. In the theoretical part, the behavior of the produced granulate from brick sanding dust on a pelletizing plate in a plastic dough was verified in laboratory conditions, then especially its behavior after passing through a laboratory roller mill. The change in granulometry and shape of the grog was evaluated. The distribution, granulometry and shape of the grog and the thermal conductivity of the fired shard were evaluated. For comparison, the standard used grog was used, namely quartz sand and quarry stone. Based on the results, it can be said that brick sanding dust granulate can at least partially replace another type of grog, but more extensive research is needed.
