The barriers for fatherhood after separation: fathers and the maintenance obligation
Dudová, Radka
The text is dealing with one of the most important dimensions of father role – the dimension of father as the family breadwinner, and more specifically with the changes that the marital separation means for this dimension of fatherhood. Its aim is to bring more understanding into the after-separation situations, and to explain how divorced fathers understand and interpret their behavior in the role of breadwinner for their children after divorce.
Studie přechodu do turbulence a odtržení mezní vrstvy
Jakubec, V. ; Matějka, Milan ; Popelka, Lukáš
The article describes computational and experimental research performed on airfoils and blade cascades equipped by flow control.
CECE06. Třetí multidisciplinární setkání pokrývající všechny aspekty moderní bioanalýzy

Poznámky k analýze výsledků měření za schodem v kanálu obdélníkového průřezu
Jonáš, Pavel ; Mazur, Oton ; Uruba, Václav
Qualitative features of separated flow downstream a step in a channel were investigated. Pressure distributions and wall visualisations were pexamined on the channel bottom.
Strategie řízení mezních vrstev
Uruba, Václav
A review of flow control strategies which could be applied on wall turbulent flows is presented. Control goals are related namely to transition to turbulence and boundary layer separation. A special attention is paid to active control strategies involving hydrodynamically driven oscillatory actuators, particularly synthetic jets.
Výzkum zpětného proudění v oblasti odtržení
Uruba, Václav ; Mazur, Oton ; Jonáš, Pavel
A new method for reversing flow detection in separation regions has been sugested and evaluated.
Static pressure distribution on the wall of a narrow channel downstream from a backward-facing step
Jonáš, Pavel ; Mazur, Oton ; Uruba, Václav
Results of the measurement of static pressure distributions on wall in the separation region and downstream from the step are presented and analysed. The measurements were made at several values of the airflow velocity and at various configurations of the channel height upstream from the step and the step height.
The influence of intenzity and time of agitation on the separability of the aggregates formed
Mutl, Silvestr ; Polášek, P. ; Knesl, B. ; Pivokonský, Martin
One of the technological procedures applied at the treatment of drinking water is agitation of water. The article describes the influence of conditions of agitation, which is characterized by the mean velocity gradient, on the structure of the formed aggregates, their strength, resistance against of tangential forces and separation ability of the aggregates from the water.
Chiral separation of charged cluster boranes
Slavíček, V. ; Vespalec, Radim
Capillary zone electrophoresis is effective instrumental technique for chiral separations of charged cluster boranes if β-cyclodextrin serves as chiral selector.
Preparation and Characteristics of Porous Supports for Microporous Membranes Based on Al2O3 and SiO2
Fíla, V. ; Hrabánek, Pavel ; Juristová, K. ; Zikánová, Arlette ; Andertová, J. ; Bernauer, B.
Inorganic membranes have been used for separation of various liquid and gas mixtures due to their high mechanical and chemical resistance at elevated temperatures and pressures. The materials such as stainless steel, ceramics, polymers are available for preparation of the inorganic membranes. This paper is focused on the preparation and characterization of the composite membranes consisting of a ceramic support and layer of zeolite. The first part of the paper deals with the preparation of the porous ceramic supports, which are made using dry molding of a ceramic suspension mixed with the organic dispersant. The supports were characterized by permeation of N2, mercury porosimetry and SEM. The second part of the paper is focused on the preparation of microporous zeolite (MFI) layers on the supports. These microporous membranes were characterized by permeation and separation of H2 and iso-butane.
