Waste prevention and effective waste management in the selected company

From reason of protection environment, under the pressure of not only administrative, but economic measures too are firms trying to minimise the amount of nascent waste. Therefor is thesis focused to the analysis of waste economy, production and composition of waste in the company WITTE Nejdek in period since 2010 to 2015. There is evaluated dependence the amount of waste similar to communal on number of employees in the company WITTE Nejdek. Was done landscaping survey, what was focused to possibilities of reducing amount of wastes, to quality of recycling waste and to availability of collecting points in the company areal. To evalaution of current dondition of recycling wastes in the company WITTE Nejdek was done survey with employees, what was focused on awareness and knowledge employees about recycling waste in WITTE Nejdek. In these are proposed concrete measures, what could improve recycling of waste and make changes helping to reduce amount of waste. Proposals are suitable not only in terms of prevention to waste production, but economically too.

Waste Economy Management in the Company

This thesis analyze the current state of waste economy management in the company with aim for draft to put forvard for reuse, disposal and removal to minimize the cost of waste. First part gets on with classify the type of waste management, waste divide and utilization. Next part looks into the state of waste and production in company. The last part is based on previous and it is suggested for improvement in solution of the environment.

Sustainability Report in Company

Thesis deals with the reporting of sustainability development and its mode of administration of regular reports. The first section contains information ofsustainability development and a summary of the approach of the UN and the EU to sustainability development, which influenced business attitudes to the disclosure of periodic results using standardized reporting of sustainability. The second part analysis the situation of companies in the administration report brewing on sustainability and social responsibility. The aim is to develop recommendations for the creation of reports on sustainable development and social responsibility on the basis of previous analyzes and evaluation of their development.

The Risk Assessment under the Act on Environmental Damage in Fosfa joint-stock Company

Nowadays there is an increasing pressure on manufacturing companies to reduce their impact on the environment. This thesis seeks to address two approaches to reducing the environmental impact - legislative and voluntary. The theoretical part defines the procedure for environmental risk assessment under applicable law and the implementation of cleaner production in the company. The practical part describes the evaluation of risks arising in all production areas of the company and implementing the cleaner production program in the selected department. The introduction of cleaner production is economically evaluated by the simple return on investment method.

Práce hodnotí možnosti, které mají firmy na českém trhu v oblasti ochrany životního prostředí. Je zaměřena především na dobrovolné nástroje, které mohou společnosti zavést nad rámec plnění legislativních norem. Mimo to vysvětluje proč firmy na českém trhu zavádějí normy řady ISO 14000, jejich spokojenost s nimi a problémy, se kterými se setkali při jejich implementaci.

Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na přehled dobrovolných nástrojů používaných podniky v oblasti životního prostředí a jeho ochrany. Podrobně je popsán nástroj čistší produkce, který je hlavní součástí části praktické. V praktické části se zabývám výběrem a hodnocením variant, díky kterým se podnik Knoflíkářský průmysl Žirovnice, v jehož spolupráci jsem tuto práci zpracovávala, snaží do svého výrobního procesu zavádět změny, týkající se čistší výroby a příspívat tak pozitivně k ochraně životního prostředí.
