Dopady vývoje klimatu na produkční potenciál a cenu půdy
Vysočanová, Lenka
The diploma thesis are focused on evaluation of quality of soil by using of EPEU system. Variation of climate causes a change of soil characteristics definedinthe EPEU. Therefore, it is important to update the existing system of soil evaluation, especially the redefinition of climatic regions. The work gives evidence in the form of GIS maps that show changes of climate. Besides the GIS maps, thesis presents graphs compiled from the climate characteristics (air temperature, precipitation and soil moisture certainty) that were measured at stations Žatec, Vimperk, Bzenec, Polešovice and Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. The thesis deals with the determination of land prices in the Czech Republic, both official and market level. It is focused on the evaluation of land in neighbouring countries Poland, Slovak, Germany and Austria.
Analýza a porovnání stavu stromů ve dvou parkových plochách v Pardubicích a Brně
Rutterová, Pavlína
Bachelor work is focusing in visual evauletion of trees between two park places, one in Pardubice and second in Brno. Further more is aiming at analisis at state of these places in terms of pedological and chmate. In my bachelor work I'm also drafting on right growing precurations to maintain trees in the city.
Klimatické podmínky rozvoje větrné eroze v oblasti jižní Moravy
Spáčilová, Bronislava
The thesis deals with the current state and future development of climatic conditions of South Moravia in relation to wind erosion and determining the effectiveness of windbreaks. Localities represent areas vulnerable to wind erosion. Climatic conditions were evaluated for the periods 1961-1990, 2021-2050 and 2071-2100, using climadiagrams, temperature and precipitation extremity, water balance and climatic regions. Scenarios assume decrease of subnormal temperature months, negative water balance values and increase in extremely above normal temperature months and below normal precipitation months and the probability of dry vegetation period. The threat of drought should increase and thus the land area threatened by wind erosion as well. Significant ability of windbreaks to reduce wind speed, even when trees are still without leaves, was demonstrated by measuring at five selected windbreaks in South Moravia. The calmest zone was detected at a distance of two to three times the height of the windbreak on the leeward side. To assess the effectiveness of windbreaks in different phenophases without measuring the optical porosity and model WEng were used. Model outputs showed similar attenuation of wind speed as the results of field measurements, but only in the vicinity of the windbreak.
Classroom Climate at a Primary School
NAVRÁTILOVÁ, Andrea
This dissertation work focuses on societal climate of an elementary school class. The work is dividend into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part concentrates mainly on the knowledge related to the climate, explanation of the terms such as social group, class and school climate, environment and atmosphere. I characterize the younger school age of examined pupils in detail. Then there are other factors that have an influence on class climate. The practical part concentrates on the research of the actual and ideal school climate both in cities and in the country. I also focus on the difference of perception of the climate between boys and girls. This research was conducted at schools in Jihlava region, specifically in the fifth grades. ?My Class Inventory? questionnaire was used for the research and the results are arranged in charts and graphs with a commentary.
Specification of climate at the school with united classes
PRÁŠILOVÁ, Zdeňka
The thesis will be devoted to issues of social and psychological climate in the classrooms and schools. It will be specifically aimed at describing the environment of at the schools with united classes. The practical part (research) will investigate the difference of socio-psychological climate in large schools and at the schools with united classes.
The impact of Nuclear Power Plant Temelin on the climate of surrounding area
BARÁTOVÁ, Michaela
BARÁTOVÁ, M. (2012): The impact of Nuclear Power Plant Temelin on the climate of surrounding area. Bachelor Thesis. University of South Bohemia, Pedagogical faculty, Department of Geography. 128 pages Nuclear power plant Temelin is a dominant, which forms silhouette of the Ceskobudejovicka basin. It is a construction, which faces and resists criticism from environmental organizations. Benefit or threat to South Bohemia? Undoubtebly, the area of disputes between politicians of Czech Republic and Austria. This bachelor thesis evaluates especially climate impacts of Nuclear Power Plant Temelin. Theoretical - methodological base is mainly focused on the discussion of literature, in general and in specific terms researched the topic and related hypotheses. General section then describes the basic physical - geographical characteristics of the selected area, special emphasis is placed on climatography. An integral part of the general section is a brief description of working the youngest European power plant. The analytical section is dedicated to monitoring climate of surrounding area ETE using data that was recorded by Observatory Czech Hydrometeorological Office in Temelin and the results are compared with data that were recorded during the same period by in České Budějovice. The monitoring of climate surrounding area of Nuclear Power Plant is assessed from two perspectives. The first view sees the climate before the start of nuclear power plants in operation, so from 1989 to 2001; the second look is focused on changes which was formed after the running of nuclear power plants in 2002. The analytical part shows the possible changes in selected climatic characteristics that could be caused by cooling tower plume.
