Song of songs, translation and interpretation

The main point of this diploma thesis is my own translation and interpretation of the Song of Songs. My interpretation is close to a naturalistic one and I perceive it to be a love poem. However, I feel that the poem transcends the erotic level, just as each relationship is more than simply the two individuals participating in it. Therefore, I am trying to integrate both the naturalistic as well as the allegoric viewpoints into one whole.
