Infrastructure of public keys
Bědajánek, Ondřej ; Malý, Jan (referee) ; Pust, Radim (advisor)
The subject of my thesis dscribes function and principles of the public key infrastructure as well as certificate authority. Under the operation system Linux was created self signed certificate authority. Web interface was devoloped in PHP for the purpose of the generation, distribution and rejection certificates. Configuration files for OpenVPN are included in the thesis and wireless security is achived by OpenVPN.
Implementation of certification authority and digital signature
Troják, Martin ; Koutný, Martin (referee) ; Lambertová, Petra (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with problems of certification authorities and digital signature. There are analyzed principles of digital certificates and certification authorities. It describes the the most widely used cryptosystems and hash functions, which are used in communications with certificates and digital signature. Analysis is focused on Public key infrastructure standard, which describes rules of creating of certification authority and digital signature. There is also described detailed principle of digital signature. Next chapters deals with studying of protocol SSL, principles of functions and usage of SSL. Practical part of this thesis realizes certification authority and information system. There is shown used software and configuration of it. Last part describes procedures during using aplication and her realization.
Cryptography and implementation in Notes and Domino
Klusoňová, Eva ; Karakhalil, Mourad (referee) ; Ošmera, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with description of cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure in Lotus Notes/Domino. The goal of this thesis is to give a brief overview of cryptographic techniques including their implementation in Lotus Notes/Domino and to propose an appropriate examples for demonstration and education in cryptographic techniques. In order to demonstrate selected algorithms an open-source e-learning software CrypTool is used.
Public Key Infrastructure audit approaches
Pěnka, Michal ; Doucek, Petr (advisor) ; Červený, Vlastimil (referee)
The aim of this work is to introduce fundamental concepts of public key infrastructure. Basic requirements for communication and related problems are presented. The solution of these problems can be found in cryptography. Different types of cyphers and infrastructures based on assymetric cryptography are described. The infrastructure types involve hierarchical system of certificate authorities and the web of trust. Furthermore, there is a list and description of cryptography software which can be used in the field of public key infrastructre. The main topic of this thesis is the audit of public key infrastructure. Audit can be supported by several available standards, e.g. WebTrust for Certificate Authorities, ETSI TS 101 456, ETSI TS 102 042 and ISO 21188:2006. This paper systematically describes these standards and using statistical methods compares and evaluates their complexity.
