The Study of the Production Process Selected Technologies
Rosecká, Eva ; Čech, Jan (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This work is focusing on the tracking of selected orders in a company which is mainly engaged in piece production of castings. The aim is, based on the tracking of the course of the pre-production and production phases, to analyse the production process bottlenecks. This is carried out by means of the information system used in the company and through daily tracking of the selected orders. The ascertained time data are divided into the time necessary for the production and the lost time. The scheduled and the actual production times, from order receipt up to the shipment of a finished casting, are entered in the Gantt diagram. In conclusion the work deals with the evaluation of the time lost in production and the proposals for making production more effective are offered.
The Study Material Flow Management in the Logistics Chain of the Automotive Industry
Lokvencová, Veronika ; Ing. Petr Tyráček, Ph.D., MBA (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the material flow in a company located at the second stage of the supply. Material flow is monitored in terms of logistics. The focus becomes reducing production lead times due to optimized inventory. In the theoretical section briefly summarizes the nature of material flow and the means used to optimize inventory. The content of the practical part is a detailed conflict of manufacturing and non-manufacturing operations, which will be the basis for possible suggestions to improve all material flow.
The use of optimization in production planning
Pokorný, Pavel ; Rais, Karel (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
The Master’s thesis deals with production scheduling in an industrial company. It uses the means of artificial intelligence to develop an appropriate production schedule in a generalized Flow-shop Programming problem. This problem can be solved by application which is a result of this thesis and was prepaired with use of the software Matlab 7.1 and its Genetic Algorithm and Direct Search toolbox. There is a part devoted to the use of advanced production systems (APS) and the concept of the operative production planning in praxis as well. The thesis pays attention to various optimization models in production scheduling and supply chain management too.
Analysis and operation management of a new production in company
MIKULÁŠKOVÁ, Petra
The thesis analyses manufacturing process of wooden handles as a component part of bench chisels. The introductory part summarizes basic theoretical knowledge regarding production process, production preparation, production management and cycle, as well as layout of the workplace. The main part focuses on analysis of wooden handle production with the use of in-dustrial engineering methodology. Analysis of material flow, workplace arrangement, methodics 5S, low-cost automation, pull system, Kanban and utilization of waste were carried out in order to find improvement possibilities in the wooden handles production. Solutions for better production efficiency and increase of production capacity are proposed from the findings of this thesis.
Production management in the selected company
MIKULÁŠKOVÁ, Petra
This Bachelor thesis analyses manufacturing process of one of the main products of chosen company that produces hand tools. The introductory part sums up basic theoretical terms of this topic. The main part analyses the manufacturing process itself, the flow of material and capacity of individual workplaces, with the aim to find drawbacks of the current situation. Solutions to more effective production are proposed from the facts found, as well increase of the production capacity for the specific product.
