Comparison of technical characteristics and technology of laying light building materials for floor construction
Mikulica, Karel ; Fiala, Oldřich (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
This graduation thesis is aimed to presentation heat isolation materials for the floor constructions. The experimental part is devoted physical - mechanical properties suggested very light concretes with the cement. The main part of the thesis is devoted to form of the transit and putting of the individual heat isolation materials. In the end are suggested structures of the floor constructions with the respect to their properties and price.
Possibilities of utilization of lightweight aggregate based on foam glass for new-age insulation materials production
Bubeník, Jan ; Reif, Martina (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
Theoretical part of bachelor work is concerned with possibilities about utilization of gravel based on foamed glass in civil engineering. Another part is description of production, materials for production and mainly gravel properties. The work focuses on ways of bonding gravel based on foamed glass and final properties of products. Also heat technology issues are described and solution to critical details of objects as well. Possibility of bonding light gravel based on foamed glass with cement and determination of required properties are verified in practical part.
Possibilities of using lightweight aggregate of the foam glass bonded with cement
Jahn, Jeroným ; Křížová, Klára (referee) ; Sedlmajer, Martin (advisor)
In the theoretical part of bachelor thesis are findings about use of lightweight aggregate from foam glass. Part of this work is a description of production , raw materials for production , and especially the properties of aggregates. The work deals possibilities of interconnection and the use of foam glass aggregates in building industy . There is describe a risk of alkali-silica reactions in combination with cement. In the practical part are verified application possibilities and properties of cement composite with lightweight aggregate foam glass .
House of Beauty Salon
Ficza, Silvia ; Šafářová, Markéta (referee) ; Lavický, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a family house with a beauty salon. The object is a detached two-storey building with a flat roof and a basement and it gives home to five people. The garage and the parking lot for the clients of the salon are also part of the object. The main entrance into the building is situated to the west and the separate entrance for the clients of the salon to the north. The construction system of the house consists of solid wooden CLT (cross laminated timbre) based panels from the Novatop company. The structure is based on foam glass, as by its´ use there is no need for further isolation of the building from the base plate, which is made of steel reinforced concrete. Thanks to good land selection, there were no problems with underground water or possible damage to neighbouring buildings.
Kindergarten Šneček
Malá, Barbora ; Sukop, Lukáš (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this Master’s thesis is to design a new kindergarten building. The thesis has three parts. The first part presents the structural and architectural designs of the building. It is a single-storey building with a semi-intensive flat green roof. The building has slab foundations with a foam glass base layer. The vertical load-bearing structures are cast-in-place reinforced concrete walls. The envelope walls have a ventilated façade with mineral wool insulation and the external cladding of the building is made of HPL boards. The horizontal loadbearing structure is designed from a reinforced cast-in place concrete slab. The kindergarten is divided into two classrooms with accompanying facilities for fifteen children each. The second part includes the design of building services such as lighting, heating and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. The aim of this part is to design a building with low energy consumption and maximum use of renewable resources. The building uses an air-to-water heat pump for heating and heat distribution is provided by underfloor heating. Fresh air is provided by mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. The third part deals with design of the kindergarten garden. It analyses the different play elements used, their spatial, material and legislative requirements. The analysed elements are implemented into the technical drawing of the garden. The thesis is elaborated in ArchiCAD 2025, DEKSOFT and other software.
Possibilities of utilization of aggregate based on glass powder in new building materials
Novák, Jakub ; Sedlmajer, Martin (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the use of waste glass powder as an aggregate in thermal insulation plasters for AAC. In the theoretical part, the problem of thermal protection of buildings is discussed first. The production and properties of foamed glass are described. Then the research of plasters, their composition and properties was made. Thermal-insulating plasters are specified and their use has been proposed for thermal insulation of building structures. In the practical part, suitable formulations have been proposed in the form of dry plaster and mortar mixtures (SOMS). Test samples were prepared from them. The physical and mechanical properties were measured. These were compared with the requirements set by standards and technical regulations. To get closer to the behavior of plasters on real buildings an AAC wall was built. The individual recipes were applied on it. It was monitored working with plaster and how it held on the masonry. During ripening crack development was observed. Optimization calculation inculded these aspects and it determined the optimal recipe. All designed recipes can be used as a thermal-insulating plasters.
Low-Energy Timber Detached House
Král, Jakub ; Hučík, Michal (referee) ; Králová, Zuzana (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is a project of new low-energy detached house with garage, two-floor house without cellar. The building is covered with flat green roof. The structural system is composed of timber I-joists Steico. Detached house consists of one housing unit of category 5+1.
Development of lightweight composites based on foam glass with utilization in civil engineering
Bubeník, Jan ; Sedlmajer, Martin (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
Theoretical part of diploma thesis deals with progressive building materials, namely with aggregate from foam glass. Resources for production, description of production, properties of aggregate and its utilization are included. Production of lightweight gaping concrete, its properties, risks during its production and utilization in building practice are part of diploma thesis as well. Lightweight gaping concrete was made during practical part. It was produced by combining aggregate from foam glass and cement. Testing of required properties was carried out on these made samples.
Implementation of Apartment House for Social Housing in Starec - Building Contruction Project
Bobek, Vojtěch ; Nečasová, Barbora (referee) ; Liška, Pavel (advisor)
Master thesis focuses on complex conducting of the technological project with accented earthwork, laying foundations and ceiling construction. Apartment building consists of two floors and is based in complicated geotechnical conditions which require changing subsoil and laying a foundation slab. The main aim of this thesis is a proposal of technological notes, time and financial management, selection of machinery, transport to the building site, work safety regulations, quality check of the conducted work and construction organisation.
Development of advanced thermal insulating plasters with utilization as sanitation plasters according to WTA standard
Vaněk, Lukáš ; Michálka, Pavel (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the issue thermal insulation plasters which can be applied in the remediation of buildings. The practical part deals with optimizing the composition of thermal insulation plaster-based lightweight aggregate of the foam glass and with possible substitution of cement for other binders with latent hydraulic properties. The resultant plaster should meet the best ratio of mechanical and thermal insulating properties.
