Two corners are taken from the total volume of matter, from the second above-ground floor to the fifth, towards Kraví hora. These removed masses serve as balconies. Block B has a rectangular shape. Two parts are taken from the total mass of the building, which serve as common balconies of the cells. Both blocks are covered with a green roof. The color of the facade of both blocks respects the colors of the surroundings of Freedom square. The facade of block A is complemented by aluminum slats with wood imitation in the module, which is located in the layout of the revitalized square. The proposal discusses the construction of a complex of two buildings, as well as the connection to the adjacent area of Freedom square. As part of the project documentation, block A is addressed.

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design of an apartment building and student dormitories. The complex is located in the Brno – Stránice district, near the park on Kraví Hora, the gymnasium and the existing student dormitories. The northwest side of the plot is also the border of Náměstí Miru. The south-eastern side of the plot is adjacent to the existing student dormitories, and the south-eastern boundary of the plot connects to the local road and the Cyril Methodius Gymnasium and the Secondary Vocational School of Pedagogy. The neighborhood is very well connected to the city's transport infrastructure. As part of car transport, the area is connected to several roads. From the north side, the complex is connected directly to the main road Údolní and further to the adjacent Lerchová road. The student dormitories with which this bachelor's thesis deals are a separate four-floor building with a flat vegetated roof. The construction of the building is designed from a wall transverse system of Porotherm Profi ceramic insulated with mineral wool and a folded miako ceiling with ceiling beams. The shape solution is very simple, as it consists of a rectangle. On the first above-ground floor, housing units for students and daily meeting places are designed. Each student housing unit consists of an entrance hall, a separate toilet, a bathroom, a room for two people and a kitchenette. Identical student housing units are designed on the second and third floors, including housing units for people with reduced mobility on the second floor. In the basement, a gym, a bike room, a technical room and a study room are designed. The facade is uniform with beige facade plaster, aluminum frames in the shade RAL 7032 and an all-glass staircase.

The bachelor's thesis deals with Brno's Peace Square. Its current state is not satisfactory. The office of the architect of the city of Brno announced an architectural and urban planning competition for this area. The conditions of the competition are a free assignment of my bachelor's thesis. It conceptually solves the area of the square and its connection to the adjacent park on Kraví hora. The attitude to the current traffic situation and its solution is crucial for the design of the square. In my bachelor's thesis I deal with the completion of the block on the site of a dilapidated military area of car repair shops. The work is developed in a study of two houses in a newly designed block. I designed two houses in the block with city apartments on the floors and space for services and retail on the ground floor. According to the assignment, part of the flats is designed as barrier-free. There are also, for example, apartments for seniors or single parents. I dealt with the design of a community center with a multi-purpose hall and a community garden. The center and garden will serve as a background for the local community, which is currently missing. Services and shops will be added on the ground floor so that the Peace Square will become a representative and friendly center of the locality.
