The aim of the Bachelor thesis "Financial Situation assessment of the company and suggestions for its improvement" is to analyze current state of a particular company and submit a proposal for improvement of its financial situation. In the first part of the Bachelor thesis defines the aims and the methods, which can be used to improve the financial situation of the company. Further is presented DOBET, s .r .o. company and analysis of its current state. The second part of the Bachelor thesis is based on analysis of the problem and a proposal to its solution.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation of the Selected Corporation

The bachelor thesis analyses the financial situation in a selected company. The theoretical part characterises the determinants used in the analysis. Furthermore, it describes and explains methods of financial analysis. The practical part applies the methods to the selected company. It draws conclusions and proposes ways of improvement on the basis of the results obtained by the analysis. The implementation of the proposals should lead to the improvement of the company’s financial situation as well as increase its financial stability.

Proposal for a Change in Consolidation Method for the Selected Group

The master's thesis deals with problems related to the consolidation of financial statements of the group ZAPA beton. The thesis contains basic theoretical ways out relating to the consolidated financial statements. There are mentioned important terms, there are described consolidation methods and methods for their calculation. These theoretical informations were used for work out a practical part, which includes proposing proportional method of consolidation instead of the full a consolidation method for subsidiary ZAPA UNISTAV, s. r. o. Finally in the financial analysis, there are evaluated the effects of changes in methods on the financial statements of the consolidation group.
