Porovnání pevnosti konstrukce jídelních stolů bez lubů a průhybu horních desek

This study aims to verify the stiffness of the structure and table top deflection. According to the research five types of tables with different structural design were designed. The drawings for these tables were drafted and tables were tested in the Furniture testing laboratory. According to current standards, a horizontal durability test was conducted and subsequent detection of stiffness, test of vertical impact, table top deflection and table legs variation by Eckelman. In conclusion a draft to improve the stiffness of the structure of tables and minimize table top deflection was developed together with drawing documentation of the proposed solutions. Management of the company in which they were produced tables contemplates the application of the various design principles in the production of tables without frame.

Survey and evaluation state of timber structures

The thesis is focused on the assessment of two wooden roof structures of the building, which is located in Brno on the street Rumiště 8. Parts of the work are also theoretical knowledge of roof structures, building technical survey and diagnostic methods. Rating roof truss was based on a survey of sensory and instrumental methods. In the first step were measured dimensions of roof truss members and were determined roof structures. In the next section was researched damage of elements and his causes. Rehabilitation solution was established for each type of damage to the components resist any attack as long as possible. This report had been prepared for the property owner who plans complete reconstruction.

This bachelor thesis engages in the folk furniture in middle Czech. Thesis is focus on the main living area of rural dwellings, therefore elements furnishing households. For selected types of folk furniture was created constructional solution's draft and adapted to the current construction joints and production technologies. There was used of modern technologies, materials and construction joints in the draft. Modern technologies were used there in the draft just like materials and construction joints. Historic look of the folk furniture is maintained as much as possible. The solution was adapted to the dimensions of furniture and safety requirements according to standards.

The work deals with strength verification of individual table types. On the basis of the research we have selected four table designs (and consequently the method of construction drawings of tested samples) that have been tested in the Furniture testing laboratory. According to current standards, a horizontal durability test was conducted and subsequent detection of stiffness in the longitudinal and transverse directions. Functional dimensions were verified according to current standards. In conclusion a draft to improve the strength of the structure of tables was developed together with drawing documentation of the proposed solutions. The company which provided tables for testing considers using some of the proposed design changes to improve the production and increase the strength of tables.
