Helicopter model control
Štefanisko, Ivan ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
In this paper we will introduce the existing model of a helicopter for teaching dynamic systems. Later, we will explore various control options of a model, and design laboratory tasks for the selected subject for bachelor‘s and master‘s study. In becoming acquainted with the model of a helicopter we describe hardware parts and the theoretical mathematical model. We can design controls after we have created a subprograms aimed at raising the rotational angle arms, pulse-width modulation to control the motor speed or creation itself control. The control methods we propose are the Ziegler-Nichols and frequency characteristics. The actual laboratory tasks will be formed with respect to the content of subjects taught bachelor‘s and master‘s study.
Control system for electrodynamic vibration exciter
Čala, Martin ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
Master's thesis deals with implementation of a control system for an electrodynamic exciter. Patent and literature research with focus on applicable control methods is performed. Then, description of the methods applicable in the system identification, as well as types of the signals used in the vibration testing are discussed. The practical section is dedicated to the analysis of available hardware resources, design, assembly and verification of a control system for an electrodynamic exciter equipped with piezoelectric accelerometer and components of National Instruments.
Thermal Mass Flowmeter
Mlčoch, Albert ; Kunz, Jan (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of a mathematical model and practical implementation of a flowmeter based on the thermal principle. The range of the proposed flowmeter is from units of kilograms per hour to lower hundreds of kilograms per hour. The design of the flowmeter is non-invasive to the flow channel, the heating element is located outside the pipe. In this paper, the flowmeter parameters are identified and a temperature regulator is proposed. Measurements are made on a test bench. The results of the measurements are discussed. Modifications to the existing hardware are suggested.
Closed loop system identification
Piskoř, Dominik ; Buchta, Luděk (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with testing of various modifications of the least-squares method, which reduces the bias in system parameter estimation. The first part of this thesis is focused on the theory and principles of every single method. The second part describes the implementation of identification methods in Matlab and Simulink. The third part is focused on the evaluation of used methods via statistical analysis. This part also contains an identification of electric parameters of the real PMSM motor model.
Automatic tuning of the DC motor controller
Tran, Adam ; Brablc, Martin (referee) ; Najman, Jan (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with designing of algorithmus for automatic controller tunning for DC motors. Automatic tuning function consist of system identification and controller parametrization. Cascade control loop was chosen for its robustness and proper DC motor control. For electric system identification of DC motor was used recursive method of instrumental variables, because of noisy signal from current transducer. In the case of identification mechanical system, there were used least sqares method. According to identified parameters, current controller was parametrized by optimum module and revolution controller according symetrcal optimum.

Modeling Of Non-Linear Reverb Effect Usingblack-Box Approach
Frenštátský, Petr
In this paper we propose a method for modeling hardware reverb effects that manifests nonlinear character. The method is based on an identification of device under a test using input-output measurements utilizing a synchronized swept-sine signal. The model is implemented on a personal computer and on digital signal processor SHARC SC589. Both implementations are compared on the basis of time complexity.

Light Airplane Flight Parameters Estimation
Removal of a Known Signal from a Recording
Hošek, Pavel ; Žmolíková, Kateřina (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement method for removing known signal from recorded sound. The introductory part of the thesis summarizes the theory of sound properties, basics of signal processing, and system identification. Subsequently, the data are presented and the way of testing is stated. Afterwards, the development of a method for removing a known signal from a recording is described. Finally, experiments are performed, which include a comparison of selected methods. The best methods achieved relatively good results and they were mostly able to remove the known signal sufficiently.
