Study of Process Control in Selected Products

The thesis focuses on the process of production of castings in the company ŽĎAS, a.s. and its methods for implementing customer's requirements. The goal was to create a Work Flow diagram of technical preparation of production based on the company's internal directives. The next step was to compare it with the actual situation represented by a case job and to make a conclusion. The customer's requirements for the case production order included increased level of control and purchasing weld-on parts. The incorporation process for these requirements was not described by the original Work Flow and was the subject of its new revision. For its better practical application the Study contains business and organizational structures of ŽĎAS, a.s.

The Proposal to Improve the Selected Process in the Company

Bachelor thesis is oriented on analysis of production processes in the company ČeMeBo s. r. o. Through detailed analysis of defined production area the recommendations are offered for potential improvements of current processes. Chosen area is directly supported with simulation model created using computer software Witness. Conceptual model serves author as source of practical experiences with simulation modeling and its verification with real process. This work also concerns modern concepts of production management, information systems and production processes modeling problems.

Development of Production Management Support of an Information System

This thesis deals with the proposal to support production management information system in the particular company. Based on theoretical knowledge and analysis of the current state of the company and its surroundings, the proposal supports production management information system. The thesis includes the level of strategy, tactics and operations and areas of the planning, organizing, management and control. Proposals should lead to greater effectiveness and efficiency in the processes related to production and thereby to achieve higher profits.

This bachelor thesis focuses on formulation of realistic strategy of implementation of 5S system in an electrician and locksmith workshop. The strategy is realized as a project, which is based on internal analysis of a company, current state of the workplace, working conditions and work operations carried out at the workplace. The thesis includes a draft of implementation during continuous operations.

Shop Floor Scheduling in Discrete Parts Manufacturing

Master´s thesis analyses the current state of the production scheduling in a manufacturing company in the automotive industry. It describes the setup system management of the module Advanced Production Planning by Helios Orange program, which company uses. This thesis introduces a new process of order and describes procedures for control of this module. Two essential steps of this new process were tested – creation of production orders and scheduling of production batches. In the end of the master´s thesis there are estimated financial savings after the implementation of the new process production scheduling.

The Study of the Contract Award in Selected Company

Bachelor’s thesis deals with the study of the contract award company Tiskárna Unipress, s.r.o., which is engaged in printing manufactory and graphic services. Thesis focuses on a theoretical level to the problems and further analysis of the current situation and all the processes that are associated with the course of the contract. On the analysis continues the part of proposals, which includes concrete proposals to improve and optimize the entire process throughout the engagement and evaluation of the benefits.

Improving processes in cement production

The bachelor thesis named: ,,Improving processes in cement production“ is aimed at observing processes in the CEMMAC a.s. company. The aim of this work is to improve and streamline processes in cement production. When evaluating the efficiency of the processes, were monitored the error rate of outputs in individual operations and the costliness of the processes. It was assumed that there are bottlenecks in these processes that lead to reduced efficiency in the processes. Process map, charts, tables, and a 5x WHY analysis were used to analyse bottlenecks in processes. The result was to confirm the assumptions about inefficiencies in the processes and to identify the causes of bottlenecks in the processes. The design part of the thesis contains improvement suggestions that lead to improving the efficiency of the main processes in cement production.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the description and analysis of the logistics flow in manufacturing company PP Tuning Racing Parts s.r.o. At first it explains the general concepts of this issue. In the next part it analyzes the actual situation in the company. In conclusion it summarizes all the data and suggests measures that could improve the situation of logistics in the company.
