Thermal conductivity measurements

This thesis focus on measurment of thermal conductivity by transient point heat source method and heat diffusion through materiál. There is described exemplar, measurement procedure and used devices. Thesis focus on verification of teoretical equations and effects of variables, which can affect accuracy of measurement.
Numerická simulace procesu termosanace stavebních konstrukcí

This bachelor's thesis deals with the numeric simulation of hot-air treatment of wooden elements of roof truss constructions. The thesis is divided into two main parts. In the first, theoretical part, analyses of an air-flow in the area of treated construction and a heat transfer from a pre-heated air to the wooden construction are elaborated. Necessary theoretical background - laws of convection and heat transfer are listed. The second part of this thesis consists of simulations of hot-air wood treatment in particular applications. Appropriate 2D and 3D models of given situations were created and used as inputs for the finite element method analyses. Gained results are graphical depiction of the velocity of air-flow surrounding the treated elements, temperature distribution in their surrounding and cross-section of the elements itself. In order to derive the required time of the treatment process, temperatures in appropriately chosen points have been measured.

This theses deals with issue about heat and moisture conduction in choosen wooden constructions. There are defined geomteric, materiál and boundary settings. And there is descriptioned diffusion of water-vapour. The aim is to assess given construction in boundary settings if there may became to condensation of water-vapour in wooden-building wall or if there is heat outflow. If there will be water-vapour condensation or huge heat outlow then I will propose suitable solution. My solution is performed by numerical sumulations of heat and moisture field with the aid of computer program that works with finite element method. By software there where created graphic ambience. In this theses are inaugurated stationary calculations of different construction.There are one-dimensional and two-dimensional conduction. In the end of this these is evaulated given construction for boundary settings.
