The potential of land art for art education in relation to current environmental trends

The bachelor thesis focuses on the artistic movement land art and its potential in art education. The theoretical part introduces foreign and Czech representatives, their characteristic approach to land art and their position to environmental issues. The thesis further focuses on contemporary artists, active institutions, and selected exhibitions that directly work with environmental issues. In following chapters is covered environmental education, its goals, and the means that can be applied in art education. It includes child development from an environmental perspective, or ways to discuss climate change with children. The practical part defines didactic transformation and includes proposals for didactic transformations of land art activities. The proposals contain a general and adapted plan for the Kladno district.
Interpretation of local culture haritage through information panels on exemple of Prokopské údolí in Prague

This thesis focuses on nature trails and information panels and their role in the interpretation of local cultural heritage. Based on a literature search, it describes the theoretical basis of interpretation as such, the history of nature trails in the Czech Republic and worldwide, visitor issues and the educational and interpretive use of trails and panels. The main objective of this thesis is to map the current situation of nature trails in the Prokopské údolí in Prague, to evaluate their thematic focus, functionality, usability, and educational and interpretive potential. Part of the work is also a proposal for its own nature trail, which maps the industrial history of the Prokopské údolí in Prague. Transfer of six wooden churches in Czech Republic and their current use

This Bachelor's thesis focuses on the transfer of six historical wooden churches form Subcarpathian Ruthenia and east Slovakia to the territory of today's Czech Republic. This study concerns St. Michael's church of Prague, St. Procopius and St. Barbara 's church of Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem, St. Paraskeva church of Blansko, St. Nicolas' church of Hradec Králové, St. Nicolas'church in Nová Paka and the church in Dobříkov. Stemming from historical literature, this work examines methods used to design the transfer protocol of these churches, as well as their real life circumstances, implications and outcomes. Main objective of this research paper is to evaluate current conditions of these churches, as well as their current use. Methods used for data collection were interviews with vicars and other community members closely tied to each particular church.
