The Bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of commercial banks, credit unions and non-banking credit companies in term of the supply of consumer loans to individuals. The comparison is performed based on an analysis of the supply of consumer loans provided by subjects selected out of the Czech market. The comparison brings a partial view of actual loans and highlights their main features, that are crucial in selecting.
Time-memory tradeoff útoky

Martin Hellman proposed the first time-memory tradeoff attack on block ciphers. It is a chosen plaintext attack, in which the attacker precomputes a large amount of data for some block cipher and can then use it repeatedly in attacks on that block cipher. An improvement suggested by Ron Rivest speeds up the attack by reducing the number of memory accesses. Another modification of the original attack called rainbow tables speeds up the attack even more and brings other advantages. Time-memory tradeoff attacks can also be applied to stream ciphers as known plaintext attacks. This bachelor thesis describes in detail the original attack, its improvements and a modification to stream ciphers. As an example, we summarize an attack on A5/1, a stream cipher used in mobile phones. We also propose a new time-memory tradeoff attack on block ciphers called r-coloured rainbows. The new attack is a modification of Hellman's attack and shares similarities with the rainbow table attack. We give a comparison of the properties of the three attacks and conclude that, for certain block ciphers, our attack may be the most effective of the three.
Algebraic-differential analysis of Keccak

In this thesis, we analyze the cryptographic sponge function family Keccak - the winner of the SHA-3 Cryptographic Hash Standard competition. Firstly, we explore how higher order differentials can be used to forge a tag in a parallelizable MAC function. We introduce new terms and theory studying what affine spaces remain affine after one round of Keccak's underlying permutation Keccak-f. This allows us to improve the forgery. Secondly, collisions in Keccak could be generated from pairs of values, that follow particular differential trails in Keccak-f. We tested finding pairs for a given differential trail in reduced-round Keccak-f using algebraic techniques with the mathematics software SAGE. We found a pair in a 4-round trail in Keccak-f[50] in under 5 minutes and a 3-round trail in Keccak-f[100] in 80 seconds on a regular PC. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
