In the theoretical part, basic information related to the issue of stomas is interpreted, the concept of quality of life and the specifics of nursing care in patients with intestinal stomia are defined. The empirical part focuses on the results of the quantitative questionnaire survey, for which the standardized WHOQOL - BREF questionnaire and the Stoma - QOL questionnaire were used. A total of 144 respondents with intestinal stoma participated in the survey. Subsequently, in this part of the bachelor's thesis, the set goals are discussed, where the values of quality of life are compared with the population standard.
